So is it normal for players to be told they’re second tier and to leave ice time for top players? I’ve never heard of this. Does the Wild or the men’s Gopher team say, sorry guys, you need to stop hogging ice space because you’re not as good as…. Does ANY sport? I mean people are fully aware were they rank amongst their team but isnt it the coach’s job to make all players improve? JC, that team sounds like a hot mess and it 🤬me off because it will be used to criticize women’s hockey or women’s sports in general: The Mean Girls +an obnoxious coach=great team bonding. Not.

I like the Frost. My fav was the Valkyries but Frost is at least MN. The Boston Fleet is pretty good too.

New jerseys revealed:
I have to say that the Frost is the worst of the bunch. The F leaves so much empty space. I like our colors the F is just not good for a jersey.
Perhaps if they put the F inside a big snowflake or something to round out the space on the jersey.
The logo could use work but otherwise I like it. Hope they keep the previous season's jerseys for thirds.
Toss the number in that space and it probably looks pretty good.

Natalie Mlynkova and class of ‘25 recruit Tereza Plosova will play for the Czechs in the above mentioned Six Nations Tournament.

1. Abbey Murphy, RW, 2002, Minnesota / USA - Murphy is a pest, she's got great speed, and game breaking capabilities. She impacts every inch of the ice and has a physical edge that will benefit her in the PWHL, but her dynamic skillset is what will make her a star, and almost certainly the consensus first overall pick...if she declares
7. Natalie Mlynkova, LW, 2001, Minnesota / Czechia - When you watched Mlynkova play at Worlds last year, she looked like a player with something to prove. She carried the Czech attack, and is one of the better two way forwards, albeit one who can produce at high rates. She doesn't have the same game breaking capabilities as those above, but she also is one of the more complete two-way players in this draft.
14. Ella Huber, C, 2002, Minnesota - Good speed and hockey IQ. Huber sees the ice well and often generates offense through her defensive play. She can also break free in open ice. Played very well for USA at the Women's Euro Hockey Tour.
29. Peyton Hemp, RW, 2003, Minnesota - A model of consistency, Hemp looks like a future pro. She hasn't put up huge numbers, but as depth to a PWHL roster, Hemp has room to grow into a bigger role

After 12 days off, the Frost beat Ottawa last night 5-2; former Gophers Kelly Pannek and Grace Zumwinkle both had a pair of goals and rookie defenseman Claire Thompson had 4 pts (1G, 3A). Minnesota moves back into 1st place in the league after New York had moved ahead of them the night prior.
Next game for the Frost is Sunday, Dec. 22nd as they play New York 12pm(EST)
Frost hang on to beat New York 4-3 in a shootout. Frost scored the first 3 goals in the game - Hensley was great, making 3 huge saves in OT.
