True that. But I must say that Ohio State played a hell of a game there today. They looked hungry whereas Wisconsin was really pushed to their heels for sure. Wisconsin was lucky I think to come out on top of that game...but this is how they win. They just come out on top of almost every single close contest. I knew for sure they were going to eek out a win after Ohio State tied it up. They do it every time.
Well..many of their stars will be gone after this season...but they will return a very good team next year. I predict a rematch in the championship once again between these two units.
Early prediction for next season....Gophers finish 4th in the WCHA. Yuck. I admonish the thought and hope that I am wrong in every aspect of that prediciton.

The league announced Game 5 between the Frost and Victoire would not take place in Laval as planned because of player safety concerns related to an illness.
Two people with knowledge of situation told The Associated Press that the illness is limited to Montreal. The people spoke on condition of anonymity because the PWHL is not revealing that information.
The PWHL said medical assessment has determined symptoms are not consistent with hantavirus.

Minnesota made some sneaky-good picks. They addressed a positional need with Swiderski and Henderson on the blueline, and grabbed Vainikka who can be a two-way presence with speed in their middle-six. Vainikka may outscore many in this draft class simply from the situation she's being dropped into alongside other elite forwards. To challenge for a backup role, the team grabbed touted Russian netminder Darya Gredzen as well. How well their defensive picks play out will define this draft for the Frost.
Swiderski was recruited by the Gophers a few years ago to no avail. Maddy Christian played her high school hockey at Elk River.
