This post almost gave me an aneurysm, then I realized that you were likely talking about HughesYeah I thought about that after I posted because I didn't know his size :D. his and Makar's skating ability is insane so there are exceptions for like 2 Dmen in the league......6 foot is the min height for a Dman nowadays.
Unless you're the Wild captain. 🤔 😀
Yikes
Really loving all the Freebird action today.
Yikes
watching some a while back we were talking about a series of crashes in a row and thought why they don’t need to wear the full face shield. There was a close call but nobody had gotten hurt yet till now. Geezus those blades look like they’re 18” long and legs and feet flying everywhere sometimes when they go down. Guessing they might make some safety requirements after this.

Skate blade repair for Slavs goalie. Take your time bro.😂 that wound just won’t heal.

You only have to hurry when being officiated by a guy who’s ego is bigger than the game at hand

I’ll never get over Erik Portillo and Quinnipiac being jointly responsible for that rule, either
Think it would be kinda cool if there was one target in the biathlon shooting portion that was either smaller or further out that if you chose to shoot at it it would fill the quota with one shot.😁

Question: What happened 46 years ago on Feb. 22nd?!?!?!
Players of interest:
Montana native: Sanderson (even though he went to UND).
University of Minnesota: Faber & LaCombe.

Definitely not doing this myself 😉 😆ALEXA PLAY FREEBIRD MAX VOLUME

I would just like to draw everyone's attention to what may be the greatest Olympic performance of all time. Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo won every single men's cross country skiing event. He went six for six on gold medals through a mix of skate and classic ski distance and sprints. It is just not fair that the fastest sprinter in cross country skiing is also the best long distance skier. That is like paring Usain Bolt and Eliud Kipchoge into one person.

He is an absolute beast when the race goes up hill, he has a burst that looks super natural compared to who’s around him at the time.

The Ontario government has permitted the sale of alcohol tomorrow, starting at 6AM for the gold medal game.
Summer Olympics: watch this teenager run real fast.
Winter Olympics: watch this mother of three, aged 41, do a back flip off a mountain on skis.

Holy 🐑 💩 this game is fast.
Someone needs to drive Wilson through the boards.

My thoughts exactly! You couldn’t ask for a better chance.
Shades of Gopher Hockey for the past 30 years plus.
Someone needs to drive Wilson through the boards.
There’s room to drive him 20’ into the stands. Very State Fair Coliseum like, with the fans off the ice.
Canada is dominating play here in the second.
Whole 2nd has already looked like our 3rd period vs. Qpac. Hope Sullivan doesn’t plan to turtle this lead
Whatever the intermission motivational speech was in the Canadian locker room, we need to steal it.
Canada pouring it on. Need to tilt the ice back in our favor.
WHEWWWWWWWW

5 x 3 for Canada with refs missing a few obvious calls on the team in red the past few minutes.
HUGE!!!!!
I just had a Michigan buddy text me "I hope they don't go all Minnesota hockey with the lead". Ugh. What a reputation.

ironic because I remember it working well on them twice at Mariucci last year
Never seen so many broken sticks in a game and it’s only the second period.
I'm not sure how we're not losing right now. Regroup time.
The U.S. is just getting worked in the 2nd, and Faber just hits metal as I typed.
