Wisconsin goes to Oregon next week. The combined total is 42.5 while Oregon is favored by 34.5. That says the oddsmakers are expecting a 38-4 game or something similar. It’s going to get worse before it gets better in Madison.
I see coin flips with Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Nebraska. Ass whippings by Penn State and Oregon and I'm not sure what to think about Michigan State or USC.
Well...I clearly don't know what I'm talking about. I didn't realize Wisconsin was that bad...they're really bad. Penn State is just a hot mess with Allar out and the coach being fired. I still see Oregon handling Iowa easily and I think USC is going to be a tough out. Should beat Michigan State especially at home and I will stick with Minnesota and Nebraska being coin flips.

Penn State who was ranked #2 earlier this season drops to 3-6 (0-6 in the Big Ten) with losses by 6 points, 5 points, 1 point, 1 point, 24 points (17-14 at half time against #1 Ohio State), and 3 points.
The Gophers are now four games ahead of Penn State in the Big Ten standings.

That was NOT the game I was expecting. Who would have thought it was the offense that damn near stole that game for Iowa and not special teams and defense. Oregon ran all over Iowa even though Iowa did enough to keep things close. The game winning play for Oregon was an insane pass and catch that was just about perfectly defended. I ain't mad about the loss because for all the mistakes Iowa had they looked pretty good. Go Hawks!
*A bit of pitch fork nation coming after Ferentz on the tweeter machine after this loss Saturday. Some fans are under the delusion that Iowa should be competing for national championships annually. I'll have what they are having because I'm under no such delusion. A couple things that I want from the Iowa program each year; a winning record with at least 8 wins though 10 would be great, have a chance to play in the B1G Championship game, and beat Iowa State. Ferentz has had four losing seasons in his 27 at Iowa, 16 of those had eight wins or more. I think most P4 programs would love to have a coach with those stats.

For the second year in a row Oklahoma beats Alabama this time in Tuscaloosa. Last year they lost 7 games but beat Bama 24-3 to keep them out of the 12 team playoff.
This is Bama's first SEC lost this season but their second loss overall. They lost 31-17 to Florida State who has lost 5 games playing in what people say is a weak ACC.

It is hard to see if contact is really made, but it’s awful close and he’s lucky to still be in the game. I think he was trying to demonstrate what someone did to him, which is a very dumb idea.

UCLA at USC on NBC. Both teams always wear their home darks and it remains the best uniform matchup in NCAA football.

Personally, the USC song girls/leaders and the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders would be my favored uniform matchup, but I agree this USC/UCLA matchup is VERY good too.
Washington State defeated Oregon State today to go 1-0 in the Pac Twelve and win the Pac (1)2 league title outright.
Oregon state finishes last (and 2nd!) with an 0-1 conference record.

Not to fight about it, but we did NOT dominate the game. And this game was 0% on the defense. Not even a little bit. The offense could not do ANYTHING. The defense was on the field for like 100 plays. It was an absolute joke of an "offense". NDSU had a 70 yard first play from scrimmage (yea 70 of the total 179 were on first play), a punt returned for a TD, a pick 6, a pick returned to the 5 yard line, and FIVE TOTAL PICKS like you said... AND SCORED 28 POINTS
