so we just slash the stick out of murr's hands. sure
Oh Ziemer you almost fucked that one haha
0-3-1 huh? Neat.
so luca stole us a tie.
good fucking god this team man
pressure is going to be near a boiling point come next weekend
We need the moral victory.
Game over, 2-2 OTT.

lol. 0-3-1.
you know what? Good game. I’ll take it. Way to work and get it back.
lol this won't feel any different for anyone after 3 seconds after the SO ends

We'd have a dozen titles if Moral Victories were a stat. 😉
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.
MOONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haha Mooney is one you would HATE if he is on the other team. And I love him
Idk if I’d be flexing the M after “winning” a shootout that’ll go down as a tie less than 24 hours after getting pumped 7-1 but Mooney is going to do his thing and who’s going to tell him no.

You're so incredibly right, but we need some swagger on this team. And if that's what it takes, so be it
Our rizz needs to rise above the cringe. I think that's how the kids today would put it. 😉

That was a bad OT, “Di Pwasko” saved our bacon there. Other than that I thought it was pretty even. Felt like we were in Happy Valley watching the shots. 😆
The Bulldogs would have done it to us. We have seen quite a few opponents including Duluth really celebrate winning shoot outs against the Gophers so turn about is certainly fair play.
I’ll take the SO win even if it’s officially meaningless

Yeah I didn’t love that
At least the Duluth fans are going home disappointed tonight. Better than nothing I suppose.
Overall the team did show a much improved compete level and smarter, north-south play tonight. Not everyone, and not all the time, but it was there. I liked Murr and Hendricks jumping into the offensive zone plays. Whipple played a great all-around game too, like he usually does.
Think Rombach-Murr work pretty well together as a D pair
I just hate that we’re 0-3-1 celebrating moral victories. Can’t let the standard fall that far. Not saying the boys need to hang their heads on the bus ride down to the cities, the opposite actually, I think a positive result is just what this team needs right now. It just sucks knowing what mountain lies in front of them to even claw back to .500. This roster should be better than that.
Expected goals was UMD 3.6 - 1.7 for whatever that's worth. I don't think we looked as bad today but that's not saying much, it's been 4 pretty uninspiring games so far, especially when you factor in Duluth missing their best guy and our team being nearly full strength.
I'll admit I had way too high of expectations for what 10, 23, 77, 48 would bring and for expecting a huge jump from 79, 22, 31.
hopefully 24 is as good as advertised when he slots in in a month or so.
actually, this is really exactly what 13 new players, and a new coaching staff would look like after 4 games vs good teams on the road.
Much better performance, keep improving. That shootout win is a big confidence boost for the team.
Now I can't wait for the home opener Thursday.
Go Gophers!

I watched the UND-Bentley game tonight and that was 3-2 in xG in UNDs 5-0 win.
i have no idea what they’re doing with CHNs xG but it’s seeming more and more worthless the more games I look at

Not very objective
Was just thinking about the Mooney popping off and I wonder how much of it was the guy you could hear on the broadcast screaming at him that he sucks multiple times.

You are obviously not in Duluth. And are a party pooper. 😝

Tell em all about at the reef or the copa. They’ll love it 😂

They sure did a few years ago when they beat us at umd in a so. You would have thought they won the natty.
If there’s a positive 4 games in it’s I thought Burnevik might be a flight risk at the end of the year. I no longer think that.
So does this count as a win for Gopher strike?!
Wasn’t able to watch but a tie up there the night after a 7-1 beating is a pretty good response in the right direction imo.
“Good pace, a lot of north and south, or it could be east and west, I’m not sure but either way…” Wooger
Henricks and Murr looked really solid and smooth tonight. That’s my main positive.
