Seems like a small detail but the way things started out we weren’t breaking out well and looked like Wisconsin was in control and we were chasing too much. Things seemed to kinda settle down after that. I liked what he did there at that time.

Love seeing Javon get some penalty kill time. I think he should be on the top unit (or 2nd unit). Elite reach with his stick and an opportunistic player that can finish on the rush. He has been a pleasant surprise!

Captain Lamb rubbing off! Like his game. I was a big Bonin fan and when he had the puck usually always something good was coming. Mooney is that guy to me with this team, just a highlight waiting to happen with him.

I've been saying all season this team is more talented than they are showing.
The team took time to adjust to losing sooooooooooooooooooooo many key guys from last season coupled with playing by far the toughest schedule in the country resulted in the guys losing some confidence and it affected their play but LOOK OUT they have it back now!!!!
I also think coach being the World Junior head coach may have taken some of his time away from the team when they could have used it. Not that I blame him just that it likely had some influence on the team especially being a young team that was struggling.
Michigan and Michigan State are the two best teams in the conference and in the nation, but we can play with anybody.
Wins against North Dakota, Penn State, Denver, and Wisconsin show that. As does a Tie/shoot out win against Boston College (that likely would have been a regulation win if not for a HORRIBLE non call right before the BC tying goal). The past two Saturdays we came close to tying/beating Michigan (OT loss) and Michigan State 3-2 loss that included a VERY questionable call setting up a 5 on 3 goal.
Alright, let’s not lose our heads here. Quit taking penalties.
