Rombach’s played really well this weekend, I think the coaching staff helped him make some much-needed adjustments in his pivots and timing.

Great point. Tate Pritchard did a great job putting it on Mooney's tape hitting him right in stride, so he doesn't lose speed to fully separate from the defense men giving him extra time to make the move he wants to beat the goalie.

Eric Schierhorn and I were born in the same year so I feel really old seeing him in the booth (I won't get much sympathy here, I'm guessing) but he did a really good job as an analyst this weekend.
For the season Luca has a 2.19 GAA with a .926 saves % not a bad portal pick up for a coach who doesn't use the portal. 😀
Unfortunately had to miss the entirety of this game, but I am liking what I am reading here! Let’s keep this train rolling! If anyone has any observations on how the gophers did with zone exits and zone entries, and like the flow of their game I would appreciate any input from you guys and gals. Thanks..!
Notre Dame was pesky and disruptive and pressured in the middle of the game hard core. Gophers had a tough time getting a flow. After it was 1-1...Gophers turned it up a notch and the momentum was reversed. Still had to rely on some miracle saves, as Kempf had done ALL *ING NIGHT, but pulled out a win.

Luca was downright fabulous all weekend. MVP of the series by far.
Gave up some bad looks to Notre Dame that they either missed or luka made the save. I thought we did a good job of generating good scoring chances didn't take advantage of enough in my opinion. Concerned about the powerplay against good teams.
