I almost feel that was a combination of a no call and a good call. If the MI player doesn't fall down I don't think that's even a penalty. It was a push, not a cross check. And it happened in front of the goal line.

Maybe for embellishment, no way he pushed him hard enough to go down unless he’s as good a skater as me. And then to lay there in a pile playing it up is just lame.
I don't think it was embellishment. I think the Michigan player sold out to get the shot off and put himself off balance. The fact that they reviewed the play and still called it a crosscheck just confirms the incompetence.

I don't have an exact count but it is close to 25-10. Thru two periods Michigan had about 10 shots on goal on the power play and the Gophers had about 5. Definitely agree 5 on 5 the game hasn't been close.
