They were showing some old footage of Eddie the eagle in the jumping and as great as that is and was, wow compared to the distance and speed they get now on just the normal hill is crazy!

I noticed when they do the skiing freestyle when they’re skiing backwards a lot I didn’t see drones for obvious reasons but I haven’t heard anything what the athletes think. For the other events I’d almost assume they can’t hear it with their own noise but still. Sounds like it’s here to stay until there’s that one accident with one that ends it all.

Latvia played a physical game and it took the US half of a period to get into a rhythm. There was some uncharacteristic sloppiness they had to work through, but it was obvious throughout which team was better.

Matt Weston from Great Britain takes the gold in men’s skeleton first time for Great Britain and he was thinking retirement at one time. Just nice to see that and Germany getting the other two medals behind him for a change. He just got better with each run to win it.
