I agree Pahlsson can be better but I think he has been better than some people are making it out to be.
There are only two guys on the team who have more goals than him. He has 2, Lamb has 4, Ziemer has 3.
There are only two guys on the team who have a better +/-. He is +1, Hendrickson is +6, Rombach is +4.
I like Jimmy Clark but he has no goals. IMO the team needs more from him.
People talk about how Pahlsson over passes which at times he does but he is tied with Lamb with 17 shots on goal which is 2nd most from our forwards. Clark only has 10 shot on goals. Jimmy needs to shoot more.

So far it appears that this Wisconsin team is a step down from the talent that the Gophers have been facing. It is a great opportunity to get some things in their game to start to click. The timing could be perfect to earn a sweep and get some confidence for the younger guys going rolling into the rest of the season.

I think it was last week UMD‘s goalie had a dark water bottle that sat on top of the net, and it look like the puck was in the goal when the Gophers would shot.
On a positive note, the improvement Gruba has made from where he was at the first month of last year to now is impressive

Getting beat is one thing but the way this Gopher team is on their heels so much defensively and also being doubled up on shots is tough to stomach.

I think my vertigo saved me from a stroke. If there was ever a year to miss a trip to Madison, this is it.
We might be one of the worst teams in all of college hockey this year. I hope they can prove me wrong.
