As someone who has watched a ton of hockey in their life, it’s truly astonishing how bad this penalty kill is. It fails the eye test every time.

If we’re going to do that, really pressure the puck carrier and take him out of the play. It’s chasing and not doing anything. Just weak play all around.
They’ve already mentioned it on the broadcast but we have to stop trying to stick handle into the offensive zone. Just keep it simple and dump and actually chase it.

As a pure hockey fan, Carle teams are so enjoyable to watch. They just never stop moving their feet and cause havoc for puck carriers. And they never catch a pass standing still, always passing to space and skating into it. Just great hockey.
