Looked at the line chart again, I'm guessing they copy paste last night's lineup. Rest of the country is very much sleeping on our D-corps. Smith was also criminally underrated by Wheeler's "top 40 NCAA freshmen" article, at #37. Even without him we'll be able to run with anyone, and in the BC/MSU exhibition last night I was not impressed by Reid at all. Didn't see the Michigan game so I don't know how DuPont stacked up

If I recall correctly, in prior years, there have been some games that were not “live” due to the home school not being in the Big Ten, but then replayed via BTNplus. Thus the question. But my CPU may be mistaken. Or maybe high hopes.

That penalty really took away the momentum we had been building. Also Lofgren's gotta hit reset, a lot of mental lapses and its really noticeable how Murr ends up playing for both of them basically

The 3rd and 4th lines both have a goal. Hopefully the top two lines do their part in the 3rd period.
Missed the first but caught most of the second. Some takeaways. One, some sloppiness for sure but this team already looks better than last year. Two, speaking of sloppy, the ice looks terrible. Three, MTU seems way too comfortable getting in our face and getting physical. Gotta match that.

There often are game highlights on YouTube (do a YouTube search after the game). I sometimes post them in game threads after the game. I just posted the highlights of the Gopher goals so far in this thread (see above).

Did Motzko schedule this series? New team playing 17 Canadians and 3 Fins who just clog the neutral zone. The Gophers were the better team, but they need to learn to finish. How many shots were wide of net? Get the win tomorrow and salvage the weekend.

The three forwards on the top line all get caught too close to the boards so when Murr's clear attempt hits the boards/glass redirecting it into the middle of the ice Lofgren is put in a no win spot. He steps up to close down the slot shot but the Tech forward is open for the one timer. There is no way for him to cover both guys. If even one of the forwards stays in the middle of the ice we have the guys needed to defend the play.
