Gophers 26-27 season

Just wanted to make a comment on @eric-vegoe's note on Whipple. Think we saw some flashes of the offensive contributor he could be later last year that he just never had the opportunity to flesh out at the NTDP or early in his gopher career (which will happen when you have Rinzel, Koster, Chesley and Mittelstadt all capable of doing some nice things offensively). Much more driving the net, staying in on the rush/in deep, etc. Think he has the potential to be one of those wild card players who takes this team from being good to very good/great

I remember in the 2nd half series @ Notre Dame they briefly had Whipple running PP2 and he finally got some decent puck movement and chances going after our normal PP units had been a disaster most of that weekend . It'd be great to see him really take a Bischoff or Schmidt-level step up
