This is why getting swept by Tech was so bad, you took out all your room for error heading into the toughest part of your schedule. Split minimum.
If Mooney is back a split is doable. As bad as the Tech series was they didn't have him and probably deserved a split, move each center down a pair against a team that didn't beat Augustana and they have a better shot at splitting, even if it's at Duluth.

Think it’s one of those games, similar to the UND games, where it doesn’t much matter home or away. Both teams will be fired up. Just a matter of who plays better. Away team has swept each of the last two meetings.

UMD looks like a completely different team without Max in the lineup. If Mooney is in this weekend, split is a must. Have to take advantage of what’s in front of you. If Augie gives UMD fits, no reason this team shouldn’t be able to give them an even worse time.
Max Veech was on with Hoppy on The Sota Pod to talk about this series. He is concerned with the Dogs like we are with the Gophers. It will be interesting to hear more from him tonight with Jupe and Veegs on the GPL Podcast.

IDK if this is what they've been doing in practice but I like it. Will be interesting to see if Cullen or Humphreys becomes the 2C, this move makes sense if you want Wyatt to focus primarily on developing offensively. edit: looks like you nailed it

Thought he was fine. Enough speed to cover ice. Needs to improve physicality. Good passer on the breakout overall. Very much still growing into the role and not a line driver in the top 6 yet
