Whatever Bob did or said in the 2nd intermission, that was great. Maybe it was adjustments to scheme, or maybe garbage cans got kicked, but UND looked shell shocked by the end. Great W for the boys.

didn’t know they had it in them but they beat the shit out of und in the 3rd. 100% a deserved result. Let’s keep it rolling for a MASSIVE series at home next weekend.
Something they absolutely need to work on is their power play. They had exactly 3 shots on 9 power plays this weekend. 1 of the shots was a goal, and the other 2 resulted in a goal moments later. They've had 8 shots in their last 15 power plays.
As always I’ll save grand proclamations til after the series. Still a chance to steal one tomorrow. Get down 1-4-1 and we may be looking at our first sub .500 season since 2009-10. Schedule doesn’t get any easier.
But like I said win tomorrow and we’re all happy. A split was always the goal this weekend with this roster.
This poster was very smart to hold opinions til after the series. Been a fan of college hockey far too long to react too quickly before a series is done being played out.
The issues with this team are still evident, and we’re definitely still gonna have nights where we’re pulling our hair out, but it’s nice to have one go your way.
Look at the green jerseys leaving the building, what a sweet sight it is!!
“Good pace, a lot of north and south, or it could be east and west, I’m not sure but either way…” Wooger

He was brilliant tonight.

Great effort in the 3rd period. Glad to get out of GF with a split!
I'll admit I didn't see that coming. Minnesota will have to block shots and play gritty to win this year. Tonight, they did that.
They showed a lot of resolve and probably surprised the green puke a little bit. The boys never quit, and despite the power play futility, they floored it in the third. Nice bounce back win.

I agree on the bolded part, as far as the score. Far from complaining, mind you. 😉 Expected one-goal games for both.
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.
I could not watch live but am about halfway through the third, not sure if I've seen Lamb play a better game.
Can't decide if he plays like a linebacker or a fullback.

Just saw Lamb's goal, he might be a Cris Carter like receiver.

They showed some good resolve in a must win game. Hopefully Bob is right and it’s FINALLY a “grow up game” for them.

The process is rarely linear. They’ll experience some setbacks still but as long as the needle moves little by little… that’s what’s important.

Yeah this basically sums up my thoughts on the team, series, and game. It’s pretty rough to watch at times but they’ve shown the ability to dominate a period vs what presumably are quality opponents. That’s hopefully something they can build off of, the schedule is tough but I’m mainly hoping they can split enough of these early series and become more consistent over time.
Great win, although I cringe a bit when I see them flash the M to the crowd... Let your play do the talking and leave it at that. Now get off my lawn.
nope. You’re wrong. That was incredible.
Just having known hockey players my whole life, part of what makes these guys thrive is wearing it on their sleeve and doing stuff like that when things go good. Also this series isn’t quite as personal as it used to be so stuff like that kinda helps the rivalry. It’s good to see Mooney doing that because he seems like Kyle Rau 2.0 in some ways.

made me smile 🤷♂️
Yeah kinda feel like if or when that stops the rivalries (especially this one) have lost something, it feels kinda good and most importantly it’s what I would do.😂

Big win last night! Watched it on my phone down here with some friends at a sports bar while every TV was playing SEC football. From what I saw I thought the breakouts looked better and the D looked more comfortable. I liked how tenacious we were in the offensive zone. There’s a lot of players to shout out but Hendrickson is an absolute dawg! I feel like I’m a broken record with this kid but every game he seems to stand out. I know they edged us in faceoffs but I feel like we won the ones we needed when we had to. Felt like another big grow up game for this young squad. To each their own on the jersey pop stuff but personally I love it. Like others have said it’s what makes these rivalries fun and it brings some character to the players and the teams. So flash that M! All in all a fun weekend!
