Gus Bus played GREAT! That performance against the very best (Gus being the best player for Sweden) has to buoy his confidence going forward!
I was really hoping Sweden would’ve won in regulation (or OT) and USA could’ve possibly had a chance to eliminate Canada from the 4 Nations final. And watch Canada meltdown like they did for World Jr’s.

Same with trying to dipsy doo in the zone. Just get pucks on net and grind. Their weak point is goaltending and in the hard areas. Stop trying to act tough and actually play it

and the last 5-8 minutes have been exactly that. they're killing Canada's defensemen when they're trying to move the puck and breakout and Binnington lets in a bunny. When they let Canada get rolling up and down the ice though, they end up in bad spots. Happy they're just putting things on net from anywhere and everywhere. They'll find success if they keep that rolling. Gotta get this kill here though
If I am the US coach I might suggest they don't take penalties.

Agree… the US can’t play run and gun with Canada. Just like in high school playing basketball against the reservation schools in our league. They want run and gun and full court press the whole. You need to slow the game down and play basic fundamentals. With some physical play as well.
I don't always laugh at her stuff, but you are correct, she has delivery timing DOWN.

watching this game has felt like watching the nhl before they changed the rules to open up the game, except its just that you have all the best players in the league out there so the space is just vastly less for everyone out there
