Didn’t we want Illinois to win? They’re going to lose to Michigan. That will knock them out. Purdue holds the tiebreak over us and has Northwestern and Indiana on the schedule. They’re in the driver’s seat.
Going into today we needed Illinois to lose twice and Purdue to loss once so it was likely better that Illinois lost.
Washington upsets Oregon in Eugene, ending their 23 game home winning streak.

Six weeks ago I did not have Iowa playing for a chance at the B1G West Championship on Friday. I still think they suck but they are just good enough that they have put themselves, with some help from Illinois, to play for the right to lose to OSU or Michigan in Indy. Weird

Well Iowa has/had no interest in getting a lead. I am glad that they won’t play again until the end of December in some non descript bowl game.

My guess is his draft stock takes a hit because of his injury history as much as anything. Multiple torn ACLs and a season-ending shoulder injury on his throwing shoulder are going to be some red flags. The medical reports from the combine will likely make or break his potential as an early round pick. Physically he checks every box you could ask for.

The BADgers are not hiring Jim Leonhard and are going to vastly overpay for Luke Fickell from Cincinnati. I am skeptical he will do well there for various reasons but he is a better coach than JL. (who I assume is not long for Madison now...maybe a season)
Honestly, they should have just never fired Chryst until the end of the season...they are gonna be throwing out a ton of cash for coaches and now likely have killed any chance of keeping JL around and grooming him to be a long term solution.

Fickell is a good hire. Knows the Midwest well, only Group of 5 coach to make the CFP final.
Wants to be the OSU coach, so likely doesn’t leave WI unless Day leaves OSU.
I hate the hire as a non-fan, he worries me. Hopefully I’m wrong.
