considering the 3-year long mass delusion that Carl Fish was a serviceable hockey player I’m fine with a player who can make simple north south plays, skate passably well and not make major gaffes every shift
I'd be more worried about the team if they no-showed the entire weekend and just got worked.
Instead, inexperience reared it's head the second game, and they weren't able to just firepower their way back into the game like they may have expected. That'll happen sometimes. They'll learn and hopefully Bob uses the "2x4" a bit in review to get them right.
Or DiPasquo could have simply skated to the corner to get his stick when the puck was on the other end of the ice 3-4 times.1. horrible zone exits.
2. During the Luca goalie stick fiasco, they just needed a whistle. When they finally exited the zone, they should have purposely gone off sides or some other action to get a stoppage. They tried to create offense when they were dead tired.
IDK how much people here watch the NHL but Airey seems like the college version of Stuart Skinner, big and not overly athletic. Not sure what to think of Di Pasquo because that was his first start in like 9 months and while the first goal he let in was terrible he also looked like he was gonna steal the game in the 2nd, and then he finally got his stick back and the team continued to throw the puck around and make Tech look like Quinnipiac in the national championship. My hope is that he plays a bit more consistent (as does the rest of the team) and takes over the net at some point but who knows if that'll happen.I know it's way way early here...but curious based upon the only two games we have to go on thus far but any takes on the goalie situation? I get it might be hard to judge Di Pasquo given the # of shots on goal against him. But that was an impressive bit of saving he did for that 5-minute stretch.

There was at least one time where the puck was alone in the corner of the rink with no Tech defender. I think he could have cheated as the puck went down and once it was open, sprint to get the stick. Also, once the team changed one of the skaters should have grabbed DiPasquo's stick to help him out.
