In all seriousness, I'm not shocked that the tickets to ASU games will be in higher demand for this year. New buildings usually mean a higher number a fans. We had floated the idea of going, but the cost involved outweighed the reasons for going. Plus, the flights to the Frozen Four in Tampa are a bit higher than I would like, so I can't justify both Arizona and Tampa this hockey season. Have fun to those that are going to Arizona for the games.

Hoping they go with one C and three A’s. Instead of four C’s. It’s kinda clunky.
Definitely well deserved for Johnson. I’ve always liked his game. Another very calm and steady presence on the backend.
Will Ryan have the ability to sign as a free agent after this year despite that he was drafted by Buffalo? I can never remember how that loophole works.

Been following this team for 50 years. Never thought I'd see a Farmer Captain from Magnolia MN. I love it!
Jaxon is an interesting player. After his sophomore season I was ready for him to breakout, but he never really did in the first half (no one did except Brodzinski) and then he got hurt in the second half.
Throughout his career he’s seen steady progression points wise so there’s a good chance he breaks one or both of the 10 goals 20 points barrier if he stays healthy. Even if he doesn’t, he does plenty other things for this team.

There are always a few surprises. The coaches picked MN over Michigan last year, and that proved correct, but they missed on Ohio States finish. If Dubes can perform like last year, I can see Ohio St being in the mix for 3rd. You just never know with the BADgers. It will land on the shoulders of Trader Moe to see where they end up.

The thing with the Badgers in they have a 3rd or 4th place roster, but until they prove it under Tony Granato, how are we to assume they won’t underperform like every other year.
Yeah, the BADgers are real wildcard. They can have skin in the game or just be a cesspool. As much as I dislike wisconSIN, a competitive Bucky is best for the BIG.

I don’t expect him to put up huge offensive numbers because he’s not a big PP guy or a top 6 guy who’s gonna get more minutes than average. But it’d be nice if he’d at least be a factor in big games against top opponents rather than completely invisible (and that’s true for others as well obviously)

I know im excited. About two weeks ago I had a dream where I was trying to find seats at mariucci right behind the net. Later on I saw prime milwaukee bucks kareem abdul jabbar walking around in the arena!
I still have Staudacher penciled in as LaCombe’s d partner but I wonder how long before Mittelstadt takes that spot over from 55. First team all USHL and was basically a point per game from the blue line. If the defense is there I’m sure he’ll see plenty of ice time. Embarrassment of riches back there.
The season is starting... So I am shutting this down.
