Our 2 weekends so far have been a complete and utter embarrassment.
I'm downright baffled at why our pretty talented-on-paper team, with a good mix of classes and prior college hockey track record, and size/skating/draft pedigree -- they seem to have already given up on this season.
We had a worse team last year and still kept it close with Duluth in both games.

Our players constantly look like they are afraid of the puck whether it's when they have to hustle and beat another player to the puck or the puck is coming at them... It's baffling.

Team has never started 0-3 from what I can find. Worst start has been 0-3-1 with a tie preventing the 0-3 start. I guess we’ll see what tomorrow brings, but this is looking to be our worst start in program history. No where to go but up.

2015-16 team started 0-3 and had one goal in those three games. Ended up being a 20 win team, missed the tourney tho

True. They almost are there, they just need to improve on offense, on defense, on the power play, on the penalty kill, on odd man rushes, on the breakout, on the face off, on penalties, and on coaching. But then I pity the team that has to play us

we were supposed to improve from last year's atrocious PK. Meanwhile our PP has regressed by a lot so now we just have nothing in terms of special teams

Well thankfully the hockey is only half of the reason we road trip. The friends we hang with and the good times we have in various places is really what makes it worthwhile.

Same on both accounts. The last 20-21 months have been borderline impressive at how bad this program has become. Still plenty of season to go but the implosion since about January or February of 2025 is honestly quite something to behold.
