For everyone ripping the shootout win, this clearly meant something to the players and I’m sure it does to Bob in the moment. Team deserved a result and can see this heartening the guys for what is a super important next 4 games

i have zero doubt the crew from this weekend would’ve seen a similar fate if you take this and put it in the exact same circumstance in the postseason (keep in mind the Mooney call in first as your tone setter of what’s a penalty). I get what you’re saying absolutely and it’s super hard to wipe away the distaste from that loss, but trips from behind with horizontal sticks are literally the textbook of the rules. All I’m saying. Circumstance/moment/feeling, 100x worse from the UMass game though because of what it meant

Referee number 20 was absolutely miserable today. I shouldn’t be a negative Nancy. But he was so so so bad today. Stole the hockey game tonight.
Had to go pick up my daughter from youth group mid 3rd. CHN posted BC 2nd goal and posted they won in a SO. Had to come to GPL to see they won the SO.

Airey was good the past two games.
TWO shoot out goals, decent job on face-offs overall, (seemed better than last year anyway), need to finish some of those chances near the net, and not get caught for long periods of time in the d-zone without a change.

The fight and aggressiveness they showed the last 4 minutes after BC tied it up should be how they play the whole game. Bottle that up and they will be a very good team.
