Bennett did exactly what @fightclub30 talked about a few nights ago. Gets bumped near the goalie and takes it as a free ticket to topple all over the goalie. He will never go down easier. Good thing the ref called the goalie interference and McDavid made them pay.
Bennett gets by with stuff in the crease area. He "accidently" elbows Stolarz of Toronto and Stolarz gets pulled for concussion protocol.
I’d take out Bennett ankles with my goalie stick if I was Skinner HARSHLY! Enough is Enough! All this crap making contact with goalies by Bennett is intentional.

If Oilers would have won again tonight after tying it late in both games 1 & 2, this series wud have been pretty much over. Now we have a series!

probably a mass overstatement to say it would be over, given both were in Edmonton and we did see Edmonton come Back from down 3-0 last year. True they do get better as the series goes on, but Florida is an extremely tough out every single night. Sure feels like a series that’s going to find a way to go 7

it’s the part that’s always been so interesting about him. Always lauded as being a great guy, awesome with community and in locker room, but an absolute punk on the ice. Maybe some of that comes from being 5’9” (at best) and needing to earn it on the ice and playing a role, but his dichotomy is certainly something sports movies (and characters) are written about
You hear this all the time… an a$$clown on the ice, field or court, but the greatest human off. I don’t doubt it for one moment that Marchand is great off the ice. And in the same breath you here, greatest teammate in the locker room and on the ice, field or court. Though a complete jerk in public. I guess if I had to be one of the two. I would hands down be more the clown playing, but a great human in public.
The Stanley Pup show is very entertaining (on tru tv right now if you’re bored). Super cute and the names are hysterical (see link below for the lineup). They make a creative dog-themed name of a player from each team. The Mammoth have “Logan Drooly.” 😂
I swear every game this playoffs, Florida recognizes a WW2 veteran. It’s great to see, just wonder where they find so many. All of them are late-late 90s or even in their 100s!!!

I don’t have any sympathy for Tkachuk or Bennett. Maurice should knowbetter than putting them out on the pp with less than 10 minutes remaining up 5-1. The issue is both have been running the Oiler goalie. Sometimes Enough is Enough & U have to do something.

The missed call on the hit on Bouchard into glass. And shorty after call Draisaitl for an elbow. The hit on Bouchard was questionable and I tend to agree not calling. Though you call the elbow?!?!?!
