I hope the Gophers get lucky and pull off a sweep this weekend, I hate the Baddddgers!
I would gladly like seeing the wisconSIN BADgers on 94 east with their tails stuck between their legs after being embarrassed by the Gophers in the weekend series.

I remember at old Mariucci arena when WisconSIN would show up getting blown out the crowd would be chanting 94 east, 94 east. One time we were in the parking lot during intermission when you could get pass out receipt's. We were having a snow storm while drinking beers there was a car from WisconSIN the driver and their friends were telling us the Gophers suck. Well we waited for them to go back to the arena we went to there car and opened tire caps and let all of the air out of the tires. After the game we saw them driving away with 4 flat tires 😁😎🤣
I’ve had few encounters with both BADgers both football and hockey… pretty harmless encounters. I told one wisconSIN after he got done chirping at Gopher fans (after a a Gophers win) “94 east”. He got up in my face and told me “I’ll see you at the WCHA Final 5”. I told him “No you won’t, the BADgers will get swept next weekend and you’ll be watching it on tv”. And wisconSIN did get swept… lol!!!
Two years ago after Wisco swept us at home and looked to be running away with the B1G title, they also faceplanted all through the second half, including losing 4x vs a terrible Ohio State team who only won 5 league games in total. Last year they also crashed out after brief signs of life around the halfway point.
Time to make second-half collapses an annual occurrence for Bucky.
I too have to have a little hope after a pretty gutsy and overall good game Saturday. This team has not quit when many have quit on them. Yes they are inconsistent, yes they make some really unbelievable errors/decisions at absolutely the worst times, and yes they seem to play in their heads too much. I do suspect some of that is coaching but I also think that when you play scared to make a mistake you make a lot of mistakes. As someone else pointed out they treat the puck like a hot potato. They have lost confidence understandably. Seems like they are not playing flat out (to win) but cautious and tentative (not to lose). We all know what that brings.
Thinking they’re a better team from the challenges over the last 2 weeks and a border battle incentive at home? I think we’re gonna come out ready and get the home crowd into it early! Just my feeling.

Hopefully pissed off Badgers play stupid. Stay focused and we should come away with some points. Need an aggressive but purposeful forecheck and solid D play from the whole team. Yeah, yeah. I know. That is the recipe for every game. We just haven't had it too often and not for an entire 60. Show some heart boys.

they should really prioritize filling the side facing the TV cameras with all the levers they can use (pricing, availability, marketing etc.) on quite a few occasions the near side has been visibly close to full while the opposite is patchy. It’s pretty nitpicky but I think it’d go a long way for making us look better on TV
Hastings’ Wisconsin teams are the worst I’ve ever seen when it comes to all the flopping and cheap shots they love to do.
