mooney Moore Moe is a great trio to work with. Add Ziemer and you have 4 solid guys of a top 6 who can compete at this level.

Idk but I love it so much more. Seems more heartfelt and way less rigid. Helps that they usually win on senior night.
For one night I’ll forget about everything this season and just enjoy this one for the seniors. Senior night is my favorite

Bob also said a few years ago it’s too emotional of a thing before the game and it was hard for the players to focus after the ceremony. This way they can enjoy the moment and not worry about having to play a game.

I watched 1/2 of Thursdays game. I gave up at they went down 4-0. It was pretty apparent where the night was headed by that point. Pointless to continue watching. But was encouraged to see their play on Friday. My question to the forum though here is...was it me...or do you think the Friday's performance was more that the Gophers actually played better and were hungry or do you think that Michigan State played a reduced level since they already had the #1 overall seed locked in at that point. I mean Augustine wasn't in net that night either.
I don't want to take away from what they managed to accomplish and all...but I'm just not convinced any sort of corner is being turned yet. I'm still going to watch and cheer them on...no matter the outcome. Let's geter done boys. Get 7 wins and see if you can be the first team to win a National Title with an overall losing record. Ha! Could happen.

Michigan State just went from 1 overall to 3 (in the NPI). Yes I think they cared. This just felt like a typical B10 weekend with more gopher emotion Friday. Pat noted it numerous times calling the game in the booth that there was way more fire and compete out of MN night two and I agree 100%.
