There is no reason why Pahlsson should have continued to be in the faceoff circle. He was literally 1 for 11 before Motzko stopped using him. Continuing to try things that don't work is something Bob badly needs to improve on.

Minnesota sports fans need to start having high expectations, and maybe we’d finally win something.

As for next week, it'll be interesting to see if Huglen plays or not. Could be a minute-by-minute call.
Way better game tonight. Need to do better on the faceoffs. They didn’t look great this weekend moving the puck out of their defensive zone (particularly yesterday). They need to get more scoring and scoring opportunities out of at least another forward line, 2 would be ideal. But I was pleased with the effort that they brought today. Sometimes it’s good to get popped in the nose every once in a while. They have the talent to make a run, I hope they can get some great play and momentum going! Go Gophers!

I agree that the bye is not an advantage, but getting owned by MSU in 4 games is concerning for your chances of winning a title this season. It shows that you aren’t a real contender who can hang with the top tier teams.
