Funnily enough I thought the Gophers actually played really well overall. They looked like the better team the majority of the period. Keep up the intensity and the goals will come. This game is very much for the taking.

We had aot of grade A chances.
Got a full on display of why hockey is the best game but also the most painful. Outplayed them all period and you don’t finish, get hit with some puck luck, and 2 moderate chances and now you’re trailing.

Embarrassing effort by Lamb on Michigan’s second goal. He really should get an assist for that.
Minnesota stumbled after that goal was taken off the board. Souliere should have stopped that first goal and Rinzel more or less added a screen out front instead of covering the goal scorer on the second goal. It didn't help that Lamb had an easy chance at clearing the zone but fed the Michigan point instead.
Minnesota probably deserved better in the 2nd but in the immortal words of William Muny, "Deserve's got nothin' to do with it."

they made the call when they looked at the overhead in the rink but yeah it was mms if he was off and idk how you could piece that given his foot is in the air as the puck touches in
I feel like we have had bad puck luck like the last 2-3 years! Ugh! If the y play quick, clean and with some urgency, I feel like we have a good chance at pulling this one out!

Absolutely pathetic effort on the OT. Snuggy just carelessly turns it over 3 times in one shift and then a lazy shift results in Michigan drawing the penalty. Horrible.
Michigan can have their lucky win, if Gophers play more or less like this tomorrow they'll win.
To lose like that is the only way I’m not happy about this game. Their guy holds Clark and creates a turnover then they call the penalty on us. Thats so gross

I get being disappointed after a loss. But the Bonin21 like over reaction is amazing. This team is not above criticism. Plenty of things to work on, like PK, PP, shootout, face-offs etc. Plus, trying to predict on how the recruits will develop in the next 2 years is like buying a lottery ticket. Let's let the season play out and then at the end of the season we can have a discussion on what or who needs to change.
