How can the Twins and Comcast not agree to show Twins Baseball, the Twins were paid by Bally's and Comcast has so many viewers in the Twin Cities both the Twins and Comcast are owned by Billionaires
PA sucks. With Dubay he was torelabe, and while he's ok doing Vikings games outside of that he has zero value. Don't even get me started on the morning show.

Morning Show: a more juvenile HAMS 93X show (at least HAMS has Shaver on there)
PA: let's say the same thing/theme 5 times to really drive that point home.

@slap-shot Dubay was the smart one but he didn't have the golden pipes to carry a show. He also couldn't stay out of trouble.
I actually like Bercich as the color guy during Vikings games. I remember meeting him at a bar once several years ago. I'm a little taller than him, and he instantly went into the alpha-dog glare. Then, when he shook my hand, he crushed every bone from my pinky to my windpipe. I slinked away shamefully not wanting him to see my injuries. 😆
and I love it. So you can all decide if that makes us not friends. 😂
I will never forget the day, several years ago, I was driving from the office to a meeting with a younger female co-worker. As I turned on the car the 93X HAMS came on the radio and some female "sound effects" from a game they were playing started, it was called back or front. I couldn't get the radio turned down fast enough, as even though I was spinning the dial, nothing seemed to be happening. I got it shut off after a couple seconds, but not nearly fast enough. It was an uncomfortable ride, and I felt bad and apologized. I could only imagine how immature and inappropriate I now appeared to this co-worker. I pretty much stick to my personal music collection now. Most of KFAN during the day is either commercials, schtick, or just unlistenable anyways, it seems the average 60 minute span has at least 30 minutes of commercials.

I’ll admit, I’m fine without that bit. Or their other game where you identified which orifice the fart noise emanated from. I can’t say I’ve heard those in years. Although I only hear a few minutes of their show a day. Wonder if the ass-man will stay on after he retires?

I liked it alright when my buddy was part of it 20 years ago...and well, 1.5 of the original guys weren't total chodes. But I never found them funny and almost told them that to their face. Honestly the only one that was decent was Josh...who also loves Gopher Hockey.
I honestly am not even sure who is on it anymore...the last time I heard it I was probably in my 20s. My buddy still listens sometimes in the car and he has not much good to say about it. (except that Weasel is gone)
Josh, Nick, (and I forget which is the ahole, but it's prob who you think when listening), Wappel (who's decent), Shaver (always great) and Brad Ruiter (who's decent). Dick Bremer is a regular guest, too, and he's ok.

So Jess can go to Dubuque to cover the USHL playoffs but can't go on the most Gopher road trips? Makes sense to me. ( I realize that driving is cheaper than flying, but come on )
I was recently informed by a GPLer that I'm related to Airey
Isn’t there a no politics, no religion and no Judge Judy rule on this board?
There should be! 😇

Nice to have the Twins back and it would have been a long, long, looooong winter without The Wild and (to a lesser extent) the woodmutts on TV.

When I moved subsequently transitioned to Midco I told them I wanted whatever tier gave me the NHL Network (World Juniors among other programming I like) and luckily new BSN is on the same tier. I thought I was going to have to add the sports package - or whatever they call it - and glad I don't need to.

Since joining Spectrum (after dish network dumped fox sports); my bill has risen constantly and today’s statement was up another $30 so I’m up over 307$ a month for cable tv (with no fancy movie channels), internet, and a voice over internet “land line” phone. This is almost $100 increase since I switched to them. curious what others are paying for services - I only NEED to see Gopher hockey, twins, wild - I could live without other tv. I currently have no streaming services but could I keep internet and stream these games for a lot less than I pay now (knowing I’d need multiple platforms to see all the Gopher games)? While I don’t need the phone, I do like having a number I can give out that goes to a line that doesn’t ring. (I avoid giving out my cell phone number for things if at all possible). I’m of the mind to dump it all and save $300 a month but not really an option on the internet since the other half WFH.
I’m curious what other folks do. I’m in the south metro. Just looking for some alternate ideas.

First world problems, I know.
thanks y’all!
I have Comcast digital preferred I get Bally’s and a lot of choices for movies, it’s part of my Condo home ownership monthly billing
@cowgirl I have DirecTv. I pay $200 a month, but we have HBO and the sports pack which includes all of the regional sports networks and NHL Network. I also have 4 HD DVR's which is an additional cost per unit. That is where they nickel and dime you to death. You could shave a bunch of cash off the price by not having HBO and the regional sports package. I believe Bally's is included in the basic package. My main reason I have kept DirecTv is because they still have Bally's.

I don’t have hbo and only two dvrs; although I rarely use the second one so could consider dumping that although still needing the box for tv probably wouldn’t save me much. I have never used direct tv so I’m sure I could score a good new customer deal, but do they also provide internet or land line phone? I’m not really interested in paying a different company for each service if I don’t have to. What sucks is my spectrum bill claims I’ll still getting almost $60 a month in promotional discounts for another year. (Which I question since when I signed up was only for two years which is long over..) so this time next year with the monthly increases on random stuff and tax I bet it’s over $400 a month which would be downright ridiculous! I’m hoping I can shop around and get some quotes and go back to Spectrum and threaten them to drop all their service and score a better deal at least for a year. However talking to reps on the phone might be one of the most awful tasks there is. 😂
Unfortunately…these cable companies have fragmented pre-set territories that often don’t seem logical. About the only thing you have that most don’t anymore is a base telephone. When not attending games in person, being able to watch Gopher hockey on TV is a clear priority (for you) so although it appears to me that Spectrum is billing you at an even higher rate than what I pay for Comcast, you may have to just bite the bullet this season, then reevaluate down the road (since you also seem to really like where you live). 😊
