As for being a fan of a player, always hated Modano (pretty boy, IMO), would never cheer for Favre, and F Christian Laettner (sp?). Also F Tie Domi, that little POS....

And I wasn't a fan of any NFL team before the Bills, and Cubs fan when you could be a fan of one team from each league, due to no inter-league play, and yes, due to WGN wayyyyyyyyyyyy back when. Got home from grade school, and huzzah, Cubs game was on.
And yes, I was very mad when they installed lights at Wrigley (was actually visiting my aunt in CHI/Evanston that weekend). The poutrage was palpable.

Massive seems to be an overstatement. He fill a huge hole in the Wolves starting line up. But he was cast off from Golden State and Atlanta last year. He's making $6M per year, which is a lot to us but small for NBA. If he was a big get he would be commanding $20M+ per year.
