The players crossing to get to their goalie after the end of the 2nd period, players will use it as an excuse to go stick a guy or start pushing and shoving and then yell at the officials for "Not doing their job to keep players separated". Its stupid as hell, because they just dump the bench at the horn regardless of what is said or done.

BADgers were ahead 3-0 in the 2nd, and lost 4-3 to OSU. That is a shame.
I hope it installed a sense of hopelessness in them.

I bet football. Northwestern just announced their new stadium, Minnesota has done major facility updates for football (and all sports) in the past 10 years. My guess is IL is trying to keep up.
UW can go screw themselves since we don't need all 7 teams to be strong in order to have a strong conference, but if altruism is really that important, then I pledge that for each game they win this season, I will run this little red waving tube guy in my front window for an hour. Just don't expect me to do it right away after their first win since I don't have a battery for it on hand.
