St. Cloud loses 4-2 at home to Colorado College and Duluth loses 3-2 to Omaha dropping to #33 in the Pairwise.
Wisconsin, North Dakota, Michigan, Duluth, and St Cloud all lose tonight with four of the five losing at home.
That's a shame.

In league play Duluth has 4 wins and 7 loses while North Dakota has 3 wins, 6 loses, and 2 ties. They are in 6th and 7th place in the conference only ahead of Miami, Ohio and the NCHC isn't even that good this season. They only have 3 teams in the top 20 of Pairwise/RPI.
The Big Ten has 6 of their 7 teams in the top 18 of Pairwise.
Colorado College is tied for second in the NCHC with all eight teams having played the same number of conference games. In non conference games CC went 2-6 against a murder's row of St. Lawrence, Arizona State, Air Force, and Princeton who are #38, #30, #58, and #31 in Pairwise. ?

This is crazy.. great find. Colorado Colleges non conference is helping tank that conference. Love it!
NCHC can pound sand. At the start of the BIG on paper looked to be the better conference. The BIG had A LOT rebuilding and bad puck luck. Compared to the NCHC teams hitting their pinnacle and puck luck. Times are a changing and like I believed back from the start the BIG will be the premier conference.
They are absolutely shredding their goaltending following a game they lost because they didn't score any goals. What exactly do they want the goalie to do?
Even if best goalie in NHL was playing at UND, he would be shredded if his defense leaves him out to dry and can’t get any scoring from the offense. Though UND fans aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed when it come to hockey IQ.
Kleven has been called for two game misconducts this season — one for a check on Minnesota's Brody Lamb in October and another Friday night. Any future game misconducts will carry an automatic NCAA-imposed one-game suspension.
The 6-foot-5, 213-pound Kleven has been called for six game misconducts during his college career.
I was recently informed by a GPLer that I'm related to Airey
St. Thomas goes on the road and beats Michigan Tech 3-2 dropping Michigan Tech to #14 in the Pairwise. St. Thomas is currently #46. This were in the 50's before this win. If Tech misses out on an at large NCAA berth this game will be a key factor.
North Dakota gets swept at home. They blew a 5-2 lead tonight losing 7-6. The two losses dropped them to #24 in Pairwise.

Probably time to condense the red & green teams into just one entitiy, the badhawks.

Duluth gets swept by Omaha losing 6-1 tonight. This sets up a huge show down next weekend between North Dakota and Duluth in a critical battle for 6th place in the conference. ?
The Top 5 in the conference have pulled away from these two. Western Michigan is in 5th place in the conference 6 points ahead of Duluth and 7 points ahead of North Dakota.
Can we all take a moment to laugh at North Dakota? Get shutout last night so they think hey it’s not our goalies fault and put in the 3rd stringer tonight who gets a touchdown hung on him in a 7-6 loss.

Queue the Homer Simpson “doe!!”
North Dakota fans: **** we got shut out last night!!!
Me: No need to worry about that you are going to score 6 goals tonight.
North Dakota fans: Yes!!!!!!!!!!
Me: Why are you soooooo excited? You are going to lose 7-6!!! ?
I'm pretty sure that is the poster Rick from siouxsports..

I had to pop on Sioux Sports. They are mostly complaining about Kelven taking a major for high sticking and having to sit for Saturday’s game. And that their goalie tandem is the worst in fHawk history.
I don’t follow siouxsports, but he posts on the fb NCAA Hockey page.
Rick is/was a trip. He used to post on USCHO (might still I never venture to the hockey side anymore) and even POI back in the day. He is an insider in the program and a full on rube. On other boards he would try and pretend he was even handed a lot and on SS.com he would go into full on rube to the point of sounding like a crackpot. (they had a lot of fans that were two faced like that) He got crazier the better the Gophers were and I am not sure he ever got over Parise never winning a title while Vanek did. He also touted winning the "Virg Foss Trophy" for best team of the first half of the season ?
He was one of those guys who always moved the goalposts. Gophers win the McNaughton then the Broadmoor means more. Gophs win the Broadmoor then winning both means more. Gophers make the Frozen Four and only titles matter. Gophers win the title and only winning ALL THREE MATTERS!
I gotta admit though, boards were more interesting back then. Lots of crazy fans that posted all over the place. John C. Noterman used to post on POI all bitter cause his son was jilted by Woog. Bill Prout was the SCCC insider who posted on a ton of boards. And who can forget the Pope of Concrete Bunker Pope Skeeterman! (who I met a couple times)
Rick’s best bit was claiming Crosby was headed to und if he had gone the college route. He was a master of claiming crazy stuff so he could puff out his chest and say prove me wrong.
