Keep Hughes, Duke, Samoskevich, Portillo. Add Fantilli, Nazar, McGroarty, Hallum, Casey, among others.
Yet I still see them hanging around the top of the league next year.
That is a strong top 6F, top 2D, and goalie. Yup, they'll compete in the conference. They'll also hit the portal if necessary surely.

The commentay on McKay's NHL future compared to Devon Levi's NHL future starts around 25 min and the summary is McKay has never been relied on to carry a team in college because Minnesota State protects any in-zone lateral passing, 'the system doesn't allow me to see what he is as a goalie.' Levi on the other hand has shined in college and during play in international tournaments like the World Jr. A and WJC where he posted a .964 Sv% and 0.75 GAA seeing about 20 shots/game. McKay has never played in an international tournament and his fourth year of juniors in Madison was an unspectacular 19-24-3 season with a 3.38 GAA and .907 Sv%.
Now I don't agree Levi is Hobey worthy because his best college hockey seasons since Ryan Miller's came playing a bunch of poor teams their 32nd SOS rank is a big minus for me... but I can see why they are viewed so differently by scouts.

I, like others, believe the doping itself was accidental, though since it does sound like he and MSUM used every leeway to postpone this until the offseason (which admittedly anyone would do in this case) and the statement about going pro seems intentionally downplayed, I have a hard time not seeing the doping punishment as a significant factor in his decision to leave.
Not every disease is visible. Not every pain comes from an obvious wound. Some people you see day-to-day may be suffering in ways you or I may never understand and fighting just to live a normal life. Please consider contributing to the Facial Pain Association and together we can find a cure.

I always thought Rolston was a pretty good player, and then I looked up his stats. He only had 53 points during his hockey career. Granted he was injured the 2nd half of this year. It will open up a seat in Mariucci's press box though, as Russo would never miss a Notre Dame game because of his relationship with the Rolston's.
