That game LDP made like 30 saves in the first period where as the Gophers scored twice on like 4 shots lol. I'm exaggerating but the shot disparity was significant and the Gophers got pretty lucky that game. Pretty good example of why a one game format is so ass.

Kinda funny that on campus sites are banned for regionals but Denver gets as close as you can get to a home game vs the 1 seed. Not saying that's the cause of the outcome thus far but that's a pretty rough draw for Western.
yeah same deal with und being able to host in Fargo. There are some rinks that basically function as home games for teams. Think the one seeds really do deserve to host. No one seed should have to go play basically a road game.

I hear UND fans are all staying at the Linq (previously the Imperial Palace). They all want to honor their leader's old stomping grounds. I wonder if UND fans have anything up their sleeves to get the Nevada Gaming Commission to step in. Good ole Ralphie had a few encounters with the NGC when he owned the Imperial Palace. Though I guess when someone buys you a brand-new arena, you overlook A LOT of things.
Gonna be one of those weird ones where the winner of du and Michigan will feel like the big favorite, but may be a major war of attrition for which ever one gets through.

Not North Dakota. Besides that IDC that much, I don't hate Wisconsin as much as most ppl here because I grew up there and cheered for them as a kid. Them winning would be pretty random as they're clearly the worst team remaining and I have a hard time seeing Hauser stealing 2 games. Michigan I just don't like because they're the evil empire school that has infinite money to throw at sports, Denver I don't really have anything against other than I'm tired of the NCHC winning these tourneys.
See I’m in the not Wisconsin camp. We can catch and pass them in my lifetime. I don’t have much hope we’ll catch or pass the others. Not because of their numbers, but that they’ll likely be adding to their numbers during the process as well. So, meh. What’s 9, 10, or 11?

Sorry you had to see your team’s season come to an end. Always a tough day as a college hockey fan. The Plante line certainly put up a fight.
There is no perfect choice of the four teams left. The lesser of the evils is the mi-du bracket for sure, but I still don’t want either of them to get another title. Guess at this point I hope it’s good hockey, weather less than 90 degrees, and uneventful travels. We make our fun with friends wherever we go for the frozen four regardless who is in it. 😁
But man it’s hard not to feel like the universe has it out for the fans of Gopher hockey this season. 😂

A friend was just in Vegas for a restaurant convention....it's gonna prob be 90ish. But, you know, that dry heat. She said it was fine for comfortability.
