There was a big hit about 20-30 seconds before the hooking penalty. Western thought there was contact to the head. The TV crew and Clymer were looking at the wrong play.
Who would have expected them to know that you can only challenge for a major? 🙄 Par for the course for Clymer to be talking about something unrelated to what is going on.
That was a big one, shaping up to be classic finishes in both games goin on

prior lake kid transferred from Vermont when they changed coaches so it allowed him to move. He had 4 schools on his list and western Michigan was one and had an open scholarship to give. I really liked his game too and thought he’d look good in a gopher jersey.

Are only one point behind Michigan State for the Big Ten regular season title. At home they just need to win the series 4 points to 2 points. Lose on Friday night 5-2 to Sparty ending their chance at the title. Their 3rd straight lose against Michigan State.
Lose at home in the best of three first round conference playoffs to last place Ohio State.
Lose in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
They went 4-6 over their last 10 games including 4 losses against last place Ohio State. 3 of the 4 wins were against the bottom two teams in the conference beating Penn State twice and Ohio State once.
Ohio State went 5-12 in their 17 games. 4-1 against Wisconsin and 1-11 against everybody else including 0-4 against Penn State who finished only ahead of Ohio State in the conference standings.
BC and Quinnipiac played their season opening game against each other this season. BC won 2-1 with 9 seconds left in overtime (3 on 3 overtime). The shots were Quinnipiac 30-23.

For all the news about how there are no tickets available for the Maryland Heights regional, the arena is pretty empty...
Its a nice looking stadium but with so few seats I am sure very few people would travel assuming they can pick up a ticket the day of. A bunch of resellers probably ended up losing out, I wont shed any tears.
I was at the Galleria with Mrs. GE for the Bachman's flower show and watched the OT sitting at the bar at Big Bowl.
