After watching this game if BC wins which is definitely in doubt do people still think Wisconsin/Quinnipiac have no chance of beating BC in the region final?
This is referring to the talk about BC being in an easy regional and that it is a given they will make the Frozen Four.
All the teams that make the NCAA tournament are capable of pulling an upset against anybody including the #1 ranked team. There are many reasons why the #1 ranked team rarely wins the natty.
Teams that make the NCAA tournament are good defensively so they are very capable of keeping the game close. Wisconsin/Quinnipiac are better versions of the defensive style Tech is playing.
Quinnipiac/Wisconsin also have more offensive fire power to take advantage of the opportunities they get.

and yet after 2 periods they probably should’ve been losing to a team that wasn’t thought to be a contender to make the tourney for most of the season. I’ll be curious to see how it goes against Q or WI though I still expect them to win pretty handily

A lot of people aren't that exited about sitting in a hockey rink for 6 straight hours (which will be more if either game goes to OT) so they really only go to their game.

Yes I realize that Wisconsin lost in the quarterfinals but so did Western Michigan but because the NCHC playoffs are two weeks long they only had one weekend off rather than two weekends off like Wisconsin did.
The Badgers last game was 19 days ago on Sunday March 10th.

i wish I understood why this hasn’t been an issue worthy of an ncaa scheduling change so there isn’t these situations. Is it really that complicated to figure out a more reasonable consistent end for everyone’s conference tournaments from quarterfinals to championships?

There was a big hit about 20-30 seconds before the hooking penalty. Western thought there was contact to the head. The TV crew and Clymer were looking at the wrong play.

Their school colors are brown and gold but I suppose that doesn't for sure answer this question.
