I think Jupiter forgot to feed the hamsters.
I refreshed multiple times, still getting the error... let it sit about 20 minutes, now it's back for me.
Just happened to me. Refreshed and it loaded back to the previous page and when I tried to go to the main portal page crapped out. I waited a few minutes and tried again and here I am.
Not sure what is happening. Just repaired the database and optimized the tables. Who knows?

Getting the error on both cell & desktop. Cleared cache & data, still getting the error.

I just happened to log in at 1:44 with no issue…
For me it happens with every 'click' and takes 2-5 refreshes to overcome.
This is more than a man should allow!!!!

Looks like a GoDaddy issue and not GPL itself... So I am hoping they resolve it soon.

Seems to be happening intermittently. Happened to me this morning and then was fine. Happened again at lunchtime. Now it's working.
They saw the problem as it was happening, so that was good.

If I refresh my screen on my IPhone it gets me back to GPL

Just had a very hard time accessing GPL. Quit for awhile and now is working .
Folks just have patience... Jup's out of the country, on vacation and doing other things. I'm sure the internet is somewhat spotty. And we'll see how things go tonight with the podcast. Just remember it's 7:30 tonight due to the time changes Jup is in.
Sorry gang... I could not do anything about it if I was at home too. It is a known issue by the host and that is all I know. Do not have a time table on when it will be fixed.

it has been loading insanely slow for me at times since last night. 🤷♀️
Yesterday was hit or miss. Today it's fine.
Just saw this by the message board creator as an addon. Being able to just use @ and start typing for tagging/mentioning a user. I like the idea of a popup when you start typing that will find the user you are looking for to mention.

when I start typing (even just the “at”) a menu immediately pops up over the box to type in so you can’t continue typing unless you tap out of range, then try really fast to get more letters in. It doesn’t even give you all the options. Here’s an example, I had typed “at symbol” and ju and this popped up directly over the text box:
on preview it doesn’t even bold or highlight your name that I selected so not even sure it will alert you. (Edit it did show up once officially posted).
I’m on an iPhone 14 btw 😁
I agree with @cowgirl, it's a tad cumbersome on the phone but easier on my laptop since there is more screen real estate.

I actually love trying new things like this. Our users find little things that I can report to the creators since this is such a heavily used board. Make software better. Though not noticing this during their own testing is odd.

The mobile issue as well as other things are getting worked on and should be fixed with the next version. I will turn it OFF for now until they get those bugs fixed.

I just bought a tablet and for some reason posts are getting timestamped with my local time here instead of there which I prefer. Which is weird because they post CST on my laptop and phone so I'd think there would be a fixed setting?

There is a time zone setting in your profile. Your account was not specifically set to anything and your tablet was probably messing with it since it was not set. So I set you to Central.
