The GPL Donation-A-Thon is back! I am starting a bit early this year since I want to get us switched over to a new host in December during the break and also with plenty of time before the current host runs out in January. The old service was going to renew at $399 and that is just too steep. So I am making a change. So our annual renewal will move up a month to December from January now.
So here is what we need for 2023.
GPL Host/Server: $228 ($19/month) Vs $399 last year
GPL Writers: $300 ($150 each)
So our goal is $528. Anything over that will be for yours truly.
I want to get the server moved after the UW home series and the moves in to their holiday break. So if we can get to at least $228, that would be great!
Remember, if you donate you will become "Golden" on GPL and will not see ads on the message board. So if you donate and are not already Golden, make sure to let me know.
I added the ability to donate via Venmo this year.

Thanks Jup for what you do seriously. We are truly blessed to have IMHO the best single team dedicated board around. Arguably most teams are part of a collective by league, sport or location we have one 90% focused on a college hockey team with a legit podcast to boot. Unbelievable when you think about it.

What I also love about this site is, look how quick the supporters came out to pay for a site that one could have for free, in general. Goes to show what a good non-commercial site-runner can do, if they run the site right. Kudos to Jup, and the writers, and the supporters.

Even though the goal has been reached, I hope the donations still keep coming in. For the amount of hours that Jup puts into this site, the podcasts, and the after game videos, he certainly deserves any funds that people can throw his way.
