Goals saved above average for the playoffs. Hellebuyck has been really bad, though he was solid in game 2 a few days ago. Other guys like Stuart Skinner and Adin Hill are about where you’d expect as well.

Domi hit was bush league. Though social media is going off calling for a suspension. I say until the league takes a serious look at checking from behind and boarding and take player safety serious. This crap will continue without suspension. You see at least one, if not more checks from behind and boards nightly in game in the NHL that in the college game would get a guy the gate. I want to see hardnose hockey and hitting, just not bush league and attempt to injure.
So nothing is going to happen with Marchment after hitting the ref with his stick. Hartman throws a stick near the ref and gets 3 games... Not defending Hartman, but WTH?

Even when 97 & 29 are shut down they’re FUN to watch. Can’t imagine how revered 97 would be if he played in a major 🇺🇸 market! But the Panthers really apoear formidable at this juncture! think he’s probably most revered playing exactly where he is (Toronto and Montreal probably would’ve been higher, but Canada you’re going to do better than the US)

I know I'm in the minority in the hockey world, but I'm perfectly fine if I never see Ovechkin play another game. While I acknowledge his goal scoring prowess, and was fairly neutral on him previously, the overexposure this year was just too much for me.
Another minority take is that I don't want to see Florida back. Tkachuk is a good hockey player but antics like he displayed following the hit on Guentzel (tell him to keep his head up) after he blindsides him when the puck had been gone for days, is simply something that I cannot get behind. Only reason I'd be happy to see Florida win again is to see another Gopher hoist the Cup.
And once again it amazes me how Toronto is folding like a cheap suit. They didn't dominate to get the 2-0 lead but to not even put forth any effort in that last game is unacceptable. Blow that team up because the chemistry is not working. I'm now being a hypocrite, but obviously Tkachuk and others on the Florida team get everyone pulling the same direction. Toronto looks like they just want to go golfing.
I'm cheering for a EDM-CAR final at this point.

I bet he will really think twice about doing that again. What is that, about a $50 fine for the average joe? The supplemental discipline this league has is an embarrassment.
Yeah, it's always been a joke. The last suspension in the playoffs I can remember that wasn't completely toothless was Rafi Torres for that hit on Toews. And then that suspension IIRC got modified so he didn't miss much time the next season.

Knies was on the bench during a couple of the later power plays--not a first line or second line. Speculation has it that he was playing injured after being hit, and I wonder what is status is for Game 7. His absence would be a big loss for the Leafs.
