Steelers bring in Rodgers and then have him hand off on the most important play of their season.

They try and do it. This pains me, but the only team in recent memory to do a full rebuild on the run and succeed is the NE Pats. That was the truest plug'n'play system I have ever seen. The marriage of Tom B and Bill B was a deal with the devil. It was that good.

KC has been winning SBs doing it for a decade. If you got Mahomes you just reload.

I am liking the Bills vs Jags matchup. I think Jags are a fraud. Same with DEN. Scared of BALT (if they make it) and a little of NE.

The NFC, seeing the DET/CHI game...SEA or SF should have it. Those Ds are crazy.

Pretty much, they have the hardest part to acquire and other teams not knowing how to draft (Vikings) or whatever the Bills are doing has nothing to do with the Chiefs.

Tyreek Hill sure worked out. 😉
KC had a nice core for a few years, and last year showed cracks, and this year, collapsed trying the plug'n'play. I didn't think they'd be THIS bad (relatively) but....

The Chiefs weren’t bad they just had the toughest schedule in the league, went 0-5 in one score games, and lost Mahomes which made their record go from something like 9-8 or 10-7 to 6-11. You can’t really account for Mahomes getting injured when constructing a roster either. If anything they’re a victim of their success and have to draft in the late first round which means they’re bound to miss more often.

Also I have no idea what Tyreek has to do with anything 😆 . That team just has a bad defense and he got injured.

Tyreek is a nice talent, but I think he hurt the team more than he helped.
No, one cannot account for injury (see: Vikings 😛 )
Many thought KC would fall off, but not until next year. There were clues they were on the decline. I can't explain it, it's a gut thing, and I'm not the only one.

Note: many also thought NE was on the rise, they just happened to be a year early for how good (yes, easy sched) they currently are. Sportsball is a strange thing.

Lamar Jackson does a Houdini act (getting away from two Steelers defenders) and fires a 50 yard TD pass to Zay Flowers to put the Ravens up 17-13 with under 9 minutes to go.

Yes, that's a core. It's not we lost 5 players, whatever, let's just get 5 more players, like NE did (example: white slot receiver, anonymous RB, etc). 😉

This angle from behind does a great job showing Lamar splitting the two Steelers defenders.

IMO the Steelers are a bigger threat in the playoffs than the Ravens because DK Metcalf will be back and they have a better defense.

With that Steelers TD they are up 20-17 with under 4 minutes left without Metcalf even though they gave up two first half FGs trying to go for TDs and got stopped.

ARodg isn't the ARodg of old. He's decent, but not Headliner. Lamar is THAT good, and you also have D Henry, that's why I fear BALT over PIT. Of course, we have to get past Prince Valiant first. 😉

Leaving Zay Flowers WIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEEEEEEE open for an EASY touchdown is an "interesting" way to play defense.

That is not a good time for Gary Anderson ops I mean Chris Boswell to win his first extra point this season. He had made 89 straight.

Pittsburgh up 26-24 with 55 seconds left.

Rodgers' career has at least one more game.

The Vikings aren't the only team that loses because of kickers.

Needless to say, I am relieved. That being said, yes, the kickers, failing the XP and an "easy" FG....wow. Just.....wow.

Because the Ravens in the playoffs scare the sh* outta me, and hurts BUF's chance at a SB title.

Thats what I was gonna say, Ravens make for much better playoff matchups but yeah

I don’t think either of these teams beat Houston but Lamar pulling some magic out of his hat at home had a way better chance than old man Rodgers against one of the best defensive fronts in the league.

I was ready for Rodgers to lose another game due to a special teams meltdown but instead he won because of it 😆 .

Road teams could go 6-0 this week. I see a 5 wins, with the SF/Phil being a tough one. Plus I these playoffs as a real crapshoot. No clear favorite.

Rams -9.5

Packers -1.5

Bills -1.5

49’ers +3.5

Chargers +3.5

Texans -3.5

Because the Ravens in the playoffs scare the sh* outta me, and hurts BUF's chance at a SB title.

Thats what I was gonna say, Ravens make for much better playoff matchups but yeah

I don’t think either of these teams beat Houston but Lamar pulling some magic out of his hat at home had a way better chance than old man Rodgers against one of the best defensive fronts in the league.

I was ready for Rodgers to lose another game due to a special teams meltdown but instead he won because of it 😆 .

That is 1a reason why Balt scared me. I'll give you one guess on 1b.  😉

1b would be Henry taking over

Ding. Smile

Somehow neither of those things happened tonight

They probably should've gotten rid of Harbaugh 2 years ago, will be interesting to see if they do now.
