Miami is 6-7 the same record as Kansas City and Baltimore. The Dolphins are doing it without Tyreek Hill so Tua > than Patrick and Lamar.  😉

I'm obviously not serious (hence the winking smiley) but Miami is doing more with less.

This is what happens when you have possibly the toughest schedule in football and suddenly come up on the wrong end of one score games (0-5 this year). Before this season they had a streak of winning 17 games in a row by eight or less dating back to 2023. It’s really crazy how slim the margins are in this league, last year they were blocking kicks to win games and getting the top seed in the AFC, this year they aren’t and not surprisingly the narratives are going crazy.

'Member that year the Vikings did the one-score phenomenon? I 'member. Didn't quite do it the next year.

Raiders have Eagles, Chiefs, Giants, and Texans. Giants is the only winnable game and I doubt they win it. Titans could maybe beat the Saints to get to 3 wins but if they don't that means they're stuck at 2 along with (probably) the Raiders.

The LA Chargers defense calls game with their 4th interception/5th turn over forced and move to 9-4 while the Philadelphia Eagles lose their 3rd game in a row and drop to 8-5.

Sloppy game, and even with this loss, are the Eagles gonna make the SB again? The mistakes they made are easily fixable...

I dunno if the Chargers are for real or are pretenders. They definitely have the potential to be either.

Very bad loss for Tampa. Cousins with an epic last minute drive from a second and 28 to converting a 4th and 14 to get in position for the GW FG.

Atlanta goes to Tampa Bay and beats the Bucs 29-28 on a 43 field goal at the buzzer.

On the last possession of the game Atlanta had a 3rd and 28 at their own 29 but completed 14 & 21 yards passes on 3rd and 4th down to pick up the first down and move the ball to the Tampa Bay 36 yard line. A defensive offsides penalty and a 6 yard completion set up the field goal from the Bucs 25 yard line.

Kirk Cousins was 30 of 44, 373 yards, 3 TD passes, 0 interceptions

TE Kyle Pitts has 11 receptions (on 12 targets), 166 yards, 3 TDs

Tampa Bay has lost home divisional games the past 5 days to New Orleans and Atlanta.

Carolina is now in first place at 7-6 (2-1 in the division). Tampa Bay is 7-7 (2-2 in the division). The teams play two of the last three weeks.

If Carolina wins this Sunday at New Orleans (3-10) and splits the two games with Tampa Bay they will win the division even if Tampa Bay gains a game the one week they don't play each other. Both teams would finish 9-8 but Carolina would have the tiebreaker 4-2 in the division vs. 3-3 in the division.

And the Mahomes injury...no bueno. 🙁 That did NOT look good, although he walking under his own power.

44 year old Philip Rivers (who hasn't played in 5 years) just threw a TD pass to put Indianapolis up 13-3 in Seattle with 1.5 minutes left in the half.

The Colts have lost 3 straight games and 4 of their last 5 games after starting 7-1.

Sam Darnold needs to get going.

First Downs: Indianapolis 10 Seattle 2

Total Yards: Indianapolis 152 Seattle 36

Jason Myers from 56 yards puts Seattle back up 18-16 with 18 seconds left and then Rivers throws a pick to end the game.

Myers is the first Seattle kicker to make 6 FGs in a game. He has made kicks of 47, 52, 46, 32, 30, and 56.

Jason Myers 18

Indianapolis Colts 16

Denver beats Green Bay 34-26 extending their winning streak to 11 games.

With Chicago winning and Detroit and Carolina losing the NFC playoff seeding currently is

1 LA Rams (11-3)

2 Chicago Bears (10-4)

3 Philadelphia Eagles (9-5)

4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-7)

Wild Cards

5 Seattle Seahawks (11-3)

6 San Fransico 49ers (10-4)

7 Green Bay Packers (9-4-1)

Detroit who was 15-2 in the top seed last year is now 8-6 and in real danger of missing the playoffs.

Does anybody want to win the AFC South? Tampa Bay (7-7) and Carolina (7-7) have both lost to New Orleans over last 8 days. The Saints were 2-10 before those two games. New Orleans swept the season series against Carolina. Tampa has lost 5 of their last 6 games.

Packers played CHI last week. The only way they face them two more times is if they meet in the playoffs.

Probably the two best teams in the league facing off there, of course it was on a Thursday where I had other stuff going on and forgot about TNF 😆. Both meetings between those teams lived up to the hype though and I wouldn't be surprised if they meet again.

And Darnold gets it done this time. Huge win for the Seahawks.

Darnold, two years in a row with a shot at claiming the top seed in the NFC going into the final week. This year they are in the driver seat. Two different teams, pretty impressive.

Seattle's schedule has been pretty weak outside of the Rams and 49ers. Splitting with the Rams was huge and they will have to do the same against the 49ers.

Unfortunately I missed it as well, as we use our streaming budget on BTN+ and ESPN+. So, whenever there are games on Prime or Netflix, we don't get to see them. I have lost some interest in the NFL since I miss some pretty good games, and will miss all of the Christmas games including the Vikings because they are streamed.  I know it is  our choice on where we spend our money, but it still bothers me. End of rant, and get off my frozen lawn.

The Vikings game on Christmas will be on WCCO. Not sure about other MN markets, but they do make all local teams available over the air if they are on streaming.

Probably the two best teams in the league facing off there, of course it was on a Thursday where I had other stuff going on and forgot about TNF 😆. Both meetings between those teams lived up to the hype though and I wouldn't be surprised if they meet again.

Unfortunately I live in outstate Mn.

Yeah that’s why I qualified it with the local market. Didn’t know if you could hook up to some local MN feed somehow.
