Andover winning wasn’t surprising. It’s how they did it. I was keeping tabs on that game and the Sartell game while at the Lakeville South/Farmington game.

There is some definite maturing that needs to happen with that young lad. Regardless of what happened in the game that response is quite simply, unacceptable. If that were my kid there would be some serious discussions about whether they would continue playing or not.
Sounds like the MSHSL might be stepping in. Just what I heard from people I trust. Other than that, I haven’t seen anything.
Early State seedings, taking a crack at it. Still a lot of games to go through and things could fluctuate a lot between 6-8. But I am calling a lock on 1-4 if Tonka gets it done.
And actually Centennial probably gets the 5th seed based on total number of wins and a head to head over WBL even though their schedule is pretty week and much weaker than WBL.

My dark horse of the Tourney is Lakeville South. I think they are 6-1-2 since their head coach Josh Storm was put on administrative leave. They have the speed to run with Moorhead or anyone else.

I was hoping NL and Cathedral could meet up but no chance. Cathedral's starting goalie left NL, played with that group since he was young. When Randolph came to NL his staff brought in an out of state goalie. Of course Randolph gone, goalie still there.

Ive mentioned it before, it’s a big bummer not having Sartell. I think the A Tourney comes down to Hibbing, Warroad and possibly Mahtomedi.
Can Hibbing do it this year?
They probably are the huge favorite, especially playing in 7A, but Warroad’s regular season schedule isn’t easy for an A school. I still think Hibbing (if they win their quarter final) has a tough draw in the semi’s with either SCC/Mahtomedi then Warroad (assuming they’ll win their quarter final) vs. Mankato West/Delano.

Edina seems to find a way to end up there in the end. Not exactly a dark horse stretch the neck out type of pick or anything but they’re just that team that’s hard to bet against in March to me.

I miss the actual programs that you could buy at the Tourney. Now I just print it off rosters and brackets and staple the rosters and bring it with me.

Very much this. Following Covid actual paper rosters were nonexistent at high school games. Slowly they are making their way back. I’m guessing there were actual rosters at about 65-70% of the games I attended this season. Don’t know if we’ll ever see them at MSHSL events again. The summer selects/recruiting showcase events I attend never have rosters available to the public so I know to print things at home. I get a lot of “can I take a peek at your rosters” at those events.

Most schools can save money on not printing pages that usually end up on the floor, and since they need to do it for basketball, volleyball, football, hockey, etc., the online version is far more efficient.
Many teams--especially at the AA level-- do print line charts for game officials and opposing teams and media. If you ask they will send you one in advance, or if you are coming to the game most would probably provide you one when you get there.

I know at least initially White Bear and Stillwater weren't interested in scheduling them just because of the model of the school. I thought they might change when they bumped up to AA but it appears it may not have.
Pretty sure it was at least a year ago (so it may have changed by now), but I recall sitting at a bar with a couple parents from Gentry, and they were complaining about this at the time. I'm pretty sure MSHSL must print a very small number of programs. Cause I've seen a very small amount of people with an actual program. So, there could be a chance that a small number of VIP's get them.
