Gotta give it up for PJ
The Gophers get a big road win against Washington (#23 in the coaches' poll, first other receiving votes in the AP poll so #26). Washington was in the National Championship game a couple years ago.
Wins like today are what make games such as home vs. Miss St. so frustrating.
To be fair MSU beat #19 Missouri today so they are possibly better than many gave them credit for, but that's a game preparation they'd like to have back.
Only the big boys can win at Husky Stadium!!

Regardless, Gophers win as road dogs at 1:30 in the morning.
Ultimately didn’t matter, but both calls were bad. The late hit that close is rarely called and he barely touched the QB. The “fair catch” signal didn’t even go above his shoulder. Didn’t have time to get his hand up. We all learned from Iowa that’s an illegal fair catch signal and should have been flagged so.
Conservative PJ got the heart rate up at 130 last night. Did enough to win and wanted to rely on the defense. At some point you have to be willing to put a team away. Trick plays are not how to do that.
