Becker Wenkus is an interesting one for me, seems physically mature for his age and I always get a little hesitant with those type of guys. Reminds me a lot of Ben Brinkman.

maybe, although I noticed Ollie Moore step up his all-around game in a big way over that second half. I suppose the explanation could be that Chicago told Rinzel he had a contract waiting for him, but told Moore that his signing / timeline wasn't certain yet.
What stood out to me was the detail in Rinzel's game really fell off, moreso than any specific tools in his toolkit, so I wonder if he just got too in his own head about some fairly minor feedback or something. Easy to see how that kind of tendency might contribute to the growing pains he had this past NHL/AHL season
Now the focus turns to the defensemen. Daley is the big name as we’ve all been saying for awhile now. Schemenauer and Dozark are great players too and ones to watch. Wenkus is playing in the Hlinka too.

I would love to think that all agents are telling their players they should play for the Gophers, but I don't see what you are saying happening. First, if an agent is seeing his commission double if his client goes to PSU, you really think many are going to advise against it because the team isn't perfect? Do you think McKenna's contract suffered because he played there? You could say that he was a sure thing, but if Daley IS the best D in the world from that age group, tough to argue he's in a completely different situation. And you might argue that for less sure thing players, development might be better at MN. But in that case, I would see the agent saying that if there is no guarantee of a pro contract, then get as much as you can from NIL.

Finally if I'm the agent and if the answer to my first question is negligible, I'm steering my guy to the school that is going to lead to him getting the largest pro contract possible.
The entry level pro contract is more or less the same for players of that caliber.
@slap-shot I know we sucked last year but Penn State just doesn't win enough they have 1 conference title in 13 years we have 7. If he cares about winning as part of his college experience its hard to choose Penn State.

Mackinnon was kind of a late bloomer in the NHL so I'm not surprised it was true before then as well. For fantasy we're in a keeper league (keep five guys each year) and my buddy who is always stacked with forwards (not to mention he had prime Carey Price and Tuuka Rask at that time) actually dropped him after his third or fourth year.
