Agreed, on the other hand, they may be trying some new stuff to use on better teams, to see if it works. Either way, I am guessing 3 goals this period. Traditional or fancy-pants style.

I wouldn't call it primadonna it's just trying for the pretty goal. Also a lot of trying to get the Frosh a goal.
The other disadvantage of playing a team with this much of a talent gap is they can just be as physical as they want and be grabby because the refs won't call everything.
Lots of grabbing and interference happening out there.

Credit Lindenwood they played a VERY very solid game top to bottom tonight I’m super impressed for a first division 1 game. Gophers trying to be cute and also a little rusty what else is new it’s the first series.
My takeaways (gonna spare you all the Cooley was good, Knies was good talk because you all know that. Focus on the lesser known guys.)
Thomas and Lamb stood out for me in terms of the non-NTDP freshman, especially Thomas. He’s gonna be hard to keep out of the lineup. John Mittelstadt had a sneaky hood game; fired then pull every chance he got and was a good spark plug on that freshman line.
Closer was Closer.
Oh and Pitlick might’ve been our best player
The Snuggerrud-Cooley-Pitlick line was fun to watch, they are relentless.
