I hope we see Knies and Cooley on the same line tonight by swapping Knies and Snuggerud. In addition to putting Knies, Cooley & Pitlick together, the swap would form an unstoppable Snuglen Brodz line.
I gotta assume that’ll happen at some point given their history. But if they can keep those two separate and be productive offensively that’s also not a bad problem to have.
My only real thought on how the lines are assembled (generally like what I see) is #22 being in the top 6, I don’t wanna rag on the guy too much but I feel like there are more deserving candidates. I don’t think he should be scratched but I don’t see why he can’t be on the third or fourth line and hopefully find more time and space to get shots off.
@chill-kessel sounds like I will be looking for a replay to watch after the game is over. Anybody know where that can be found?

He’s not wrong. There haven’t been many clap bomb goals from the blue line for the last few years. Funny that this one came from a forward.
Nevers played a huge part of that goal by sneaking in very quickly from the LW to cleanly swat the puck back to the point.
I didn't realize until seeing the TV replay what a good play Nevers made on the face-off.

Kinda surprised there wasn't a whistle in the last 10 seconds of the period there. First on whichever Gopher it was for sliding by and seemingly tripping the Mavs player (though that would have been extremely soft, IMO) and then on the Mavs for mugging Cooley which left Cooley slow to get up after the buzzer.
