nah it wasn’t exciting enough so doesn’t count
I watched delayed. That was tough to watch after the 4 Nations. Such a drastic change.
Glad we got the win but there are still things to iimprove. Ohio State is no pushover but I was frustrated with our passing. A lit of pucks to the skates instead of sticks.
Let's see what tomorrow beings. Let's get the sweep and set the standard for the playoffs.

Huglen did amazing things on that first goal.
Huglen did amazing things on that first goal.
When he enters the zone, you can see a stick fly by him. Was that Lamb who knocked the stick out of the defender’s hands? The camera angle is just a bit late.
Did anyone watching on TV see why the refs blew the play dead when their goalie had no stick? At the arena none of us could see anything that happened to warrant the stoppage in play.
If you are talking about the chaotic sequence, it was ruled a hand-pass towards the end of that flurry.
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.
@the-rube Yep, that’s the one. Didn’t see any hand pass but I could have missed it.
Many didn't see the hand pass. Motzko was not happy about it.

It’s possible that someone, don’t remember who, used their hand when it was under some bodies. I didn’t get a clear view from the 1 replay they showed.
It looked to me like Jimmy Clark did in fact make a hand pass.
SWEEP tonight!!
Cannot be understated how far a sweep tonight would go in getting a 1 seed
I couldn't tell if it was Clark or the OSU stick, but to his credit, the one linesman that made the call had the perfect angle to see what happened. It looked to me like Jimmy Clark did in fact make a hand pass.

depending what happens elsewhere, would be close to locking it barring losing out
Maine probably could catch us if they win out. Wmu has nd and Miami before the nchc tourney so I don’t think there’s enough there to overtake in the rpi
no one else looks close enough

Clark made a sneaky hand pass if you watch it back. Actually a great catch by the official.
Bring the legs tonight and the rest takes care of itself!! Congrats seniors!! Let’s goooooo!!!!
“Good pace, a lot of north and south, or it could be east and west, I’m not sure but either way…” Wooger

The Gophers are flying. The Ohio State goalie has already made a handful of great saves.
Kurth finally gets one behind him. 1-0
Shots are Gophers 10-3, 13 minutes into the game.
Yes!!!!
“Good pace, a lot of north and south, or it could be east and west, I’m not sure but either way…” Wooger
Gophers take the lead in the McDonalds All American Showcase!
The Gophers have now scored first in 5 straight games.
Clark back centering Kurth and Wood pays off early. The goal was Kurth from Koster and Clark.

Flo is back in the diner!! I nominate Huglen’s mom to sing the anthem full time!!
“Good pace, a lot of north and south, or it could be east and west, I’m not sure but either way…” Wooger
Excellent period. Disappointing it only ends with one goal. Keep the pressure on and the floodgates should open.

agreed 100%. Terness was lights out that period. Would be real nice to get one on the remaining part of the pp here
Huglen was the only player from his class on Senior night. His class started out as 6 players (4 forwards, no defensemen, 2 goalies).
Matthew Knies turned pro after playing two years.
Chaz Lucius, Tristan Broz, Owen Bartoszkiewicz, and Brennan Boynton all transferred.
I do wonder about Owen B possibly transferring back to the U.
His stats this season are good 2.62 GAA, .918 saves %, playing 28 of 31 games on a Lindenwood team that is often out manned.
Since he went back to Juniors for two seasons he has two years of eligibility left. With Souliere being a grad senior the Gophers we need somebody to pair with Airey next season.
Ollie picks the corner on the power play!!!!!!!
Wood with a nice play on the zone entry.
2-0
What a start to period two!
Absolutely dominant performance so far.
Wood!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3-0
The Wood, Kurth, Clark line is BACK scoring goals!!!!
Great work by Clark to just make something happen.
Foot on the gas for another 20. Playing shot block defense is just a matter of time for a rebound or right bounce of the puck away from a one shot away from tying it game. Keep it in their end without pinching and play smart. Let’s go boys!!
“Good pace, a lot of north and south, or it could be east and west, I’m not sure but either way…” Wooger
Massive goal from Kurth. Cannot let this one slip away...
Kurth with his 2nd goal of the game (15th of the season)!!!!!! He has 35 points.
4-2
Wood with a another great play to help create the goal. Clark has three assists tonight.
That line is red hot with three even strength goals tonight.
tOSU playing the part of Boris The Blade from Snatch. They just won't die.

Huglen with a great play to set up Hendrickson for the empty goal but he decides to give it to Lamb.
5-3
My goodness...
Getting into Rasputin territory now....

Boy that was such a close call...I will take it. Should eliminate some stress.
Looked like it hit Clark’s stick and then the skate of a OSU player and into the zone, I think that’s what took them a while to figure out
The Ohio State player was skating towards the boards while Clark was skating away from the boards. After both guys reached for the puck the puck went towards the boards into the zone which is a good indication that it was the Ohio State player who hit it.
Snuggered ENG to seal it (maybe!)...Huglen so good all weekend.
I'll take THE sweep over THE Ohio State University. 😉

We are gonna see a LOT of Huglien faceoffs in the postseason
Snuggy with a empty net goal.
6-3
SWEEP!!!! SWEEP!!! SWEEP!!!!
So first in the B10 huh?
Penn State won at Michigan State tonight 3-2 (Sparty scored with 9 seconds left to pull within one) taking 5 of 6 points in East Lansing, MI.
The Gophers are in first place by two points.
For the Gophers to have as many injuries as they have this season (way more than Michigan State) and be in first place going to the last weekend of the season is a very good indication of just how well this team has fought through this season.
