probably not though is some bad hockey. Their goalie has made saves and ours hasn’t. The passing has been rough and pretty clear they weren’t ready for a team to play this physical a game based on how they’ve reacted

Ohio State has capitalized on their chances and we haven't. In the second period the Gophers had multiple odd man rushes including a 2 on 0
The 28 attempted shots in the 2nd period is a good indication that we had the puck a lot more in the 2nd period.
If the Gophers can get a goal in the first 8 minutes of the 3rd period I think there is a good chance they get a tying goal.

I commend you for being so polite. The PK is a total mess and the PP needs some tweaking. We also cannot take a penalty from a captain/senior during a 5Min PP. We have been outplayed start to finish. Argue if you wish. This is NOT a team that will win anything if they cannot figure out how to play against teams that clog up the neutral zone. Our breakout was unable to shake Ohio State and that is a major problem in my opinion. We have the advantage in skill, depth, defense but cannot score? There are underlying issues here that our talent has been able to hide. Blame the goalie if you want (I agree on at least one) but that isn't really what happened tonight in my opinion. It is not the travel, it is not the short bench. Figure it out and come back tomorrow

I know Bob likes to essentially roll lines or play 3 units on a 5 minute power play but down 2 goals I don’t get it. Nevers has one goal this year and hasn’t played in weeks/months.
