“When your best friend is the son of God, you get tired of losing every argument.”

@jupiter Agreed it is a good deal...between this and B10+ we cord cutters are doing all right!
Let’s go boys! Set the tone from the drop of the puck and take it to ‘em! Go Gophers and Ski U Mah!!
J Janicke 1-0, PPG.

Notre Dame scores with 4 seconds left on their power play.
Nevers 1-1.

Nevers ties it at 1
That didn’t take long - tie game!
1-1
If you weren't watching, it looked like Bischel deflected a shot about 30 feet straight up into the air. When it finally landed, Never banged it in from just outside the crease.
Thanks for the updates...can't watch or listen this evening so I appreciate you all!
Snuggy gets called for a stick check inference when the guy loses his stick. So any time somebody does a stick check you just let go of the stick and get a power play? ?
End of 1, tied at 1.

CHN app had puck drop at 6:35. Turn no Peacock at the start of the first pk for the Gophers.

Also Huglen didn't exactly crush the guy on his penalty but the Notre Dame player went down easy.
Refs not in the whistling mood when it comes to obstruction. Irish are mugging the Cooley line.
Irish are not playing the stack the blue-line game. Relatively wide open.

I guess so. If memory serves, didn’t that happen late in the .06 game too just other way around? I wanna say Travis Boyd had one hand on his stick & one of those losers in green just launched it wayyy up in the air?
T Janicke 2-1.

Gophers getting worked this period
really getting outplayed right now.
Brickzinski is just a load out there tonight...needs to find his game. ND attacking and taking the body. Would be nice to see Minnesota push back.
a lot of very long shots for the Gophers
End of 2, Gophs trail 1-2.

Notre Dame playing like they need this one. Most spirited effort I've seen from them in awhile.
Gopher don't look very spirited! But PP to start the 3rd.
Gophs better figure it out in the 3rd
They finally got the benefit of a call there. They need to cash the chip.
Kind of an ugly period with a lot of puck chasing.
Snuggy not having his best game. Let's change that in the 3rd.
I'm 50% factual and 50% sarcastic. When you get to know me, you will know which is which.
Not a good game for MN so far and expect ND to go into clamp down mode around 10 min mark.
Is the PBP guy pronouncing Close’s name like what you do to a door?
I’m still looking for the hook.
Keep your stick on the ice...
Lamb played a number of shifts on the fourth line tonight.
So much firepower and now 2 goals in 8 and a half periods of regulation...only goal tonight was a fluke.
Should not be getting outplayed like they are by a 10-10-2 team!
These Peacock announcers are morons. Still better than ASU announcers
Keep your stick on the ice...
The younger lads getting a good ass whooping tonight
LaCombe 2-2, EAG.

Lacombe!!! 2-2
Didn't see that coming
Notre Dame deserves that for turtling ?
^^IDK if I saw it coming per se but they dominated that extra man situation and have been the better team on the day in terms of possession. Need more of those point shots on net though they keep skying them off the top of the glass.
LaCombe’s #1 fan is happy!!!
Keep your stick on the ice...
Regardless of the outcome, the Gophers have really been sleepy tonight. Pretty disappointing.

Really? The game is going to OT tied at 2. The Gopher have out shot Notre Dame in all three periods for a total of 34-21 even though Notre Dame has had 3 power plays to 1.
Refs letting a lot of clutch and grab go by ND.
Regardless of outcome, I am a little concerned about the uninspired play over the last 3 games. I get last weekend they were dealing with some fatigue as well as illness, but they have just seemed off tonight and looking like they have concrete in the breezers.
Also, as a not very elite hockey mind, is it a coaching issue or a player-type issue that prevents the Gophers from being able to break through these teams that work it outside and clog the lanes for passing? Been very evident for the last 3 games.
He prob means physically. Overall I agree with you though it’s been an ugly frustrating game but the gophers aren’t getting dominated by any stretch. The younger lads getting a good ass whooping tonight
