In all the years of vending at all these stadiums here in the metro. I would say AC/DC and Morgan Wallen have the most fans who wear their merch and buy their merchandise.
To add to concerts... The country crowd likes to drink as well. Between the Wallen concert last night and the 1/2 the concert tonight. They crowd drank the stadium out of Summer Shandy and a newer drink... Summer Cruise (vodka/pink lemonade). And then amount of flesh that these girls and young ladies show off is a bit mind blowing in my opinion. It's free entertainment watching other women point out them and see their expressions.

And I dunno about country, but any rock concert, you're gonna see at least a dozen breastices, even if you're not really paying attention. Not that I'm complaining, but I'm also thinking, "you know you don't get beads for that up here, right?"

I went to a lot of Incubus concerts back in the day. The smell wasn’t constant, but definitely around.
Every concert had that smell, but never saw any oobies even having gone to easily over 150 shows and festivals.

My Fr. year in college two friends and I went to Superior, Wi for Spring Break. We stayed at one of my friends parents house, but hung out at his brother’s apt. 3 guys lived at that 3 br apt and I have no clue how many accounts they had at that address. They had names like Michael Jordan and Shaq O’Neil living there. They had 100s and 100s of CDs everywhere.
To be honest, I fulfilled my first and second order. Though I probably did skip out on my third order. And if I recall, didn’t Columbia House go into the DVD market for awhile???

I had about 5-6 family members "living" in my one BR apt, lol. And to be perfectly honest, if you were under 18, you could just not pay, and they couldn't make you pay, since you can't enter a contract of that sort as a minor. I wish I knew that back then.

That area has changed so much…. It would’ve been March 1995 and I remember driving to Hermantown in a snowstorm and it was just some little rural road between Duluth and Hermantown. Now it’s all built up with businesses and houses between the two.
Soup-town is still run down a bit. My MI trips we usually hit up Thirsty Pagan Brewing, and it is just blah for the city.

Anchor Bar for a great burger and cheap cases of beer at pretty much every dive bar.
There was the Cove Cabernet, the upper Midwest’s only two tier dance floor. The Warehouse was more fun.

Superior is very much a rust belt town.
It was definitely showing it in the early/mid 90s. And every time I’ve up since, it seems like more and more empty buildings and rundown houses.
Superior is an odd place. Like most cities some really nice areas and some, well, not as nice. A very good friend of mine runs a manufacturing company in Superior and his company and others are very active civically and if you're a welder or machinist they are almost always looking for employees with those skills.

One CDN = .73 American dollar or so. My Canadian friends suggest that's a huge reason.
Growing up our best friends of the family farm was right on the border. In their backyard if you were a good golfer, you could tee up a golf ball in their backyard and pluck it into Canada. You could drive up and see the ditch, which was the border and no man’s land. We always helped them during harvest. In some parts you would swing the header of the combine into Canada.
My dad would always keep track of the currency rates and buy Canadian currency when the rates were good. The money safe in the house was always full of Canadian currency. Growing up and pre 9/11 we always went into Canada for dinner or buy Canadian candies and food you couldn’t get in the States. Post 9/11 it became a pain to drive into Canada for fun things like eating and buying stuff that’s hard to find in the States.

Doesnt seem to be stopping Habs fans. As I mentioned before, just from what I see. Habs fans have the biggest following for road games in the NHL. They very well could be Americans. Though the ones I hear speak also have a very heavy French-Canadian accent.
Though, over years between Target Field and the X. Montreal fans hands have no problem spending money compared to and other Canadian fan base. They sling money around like there’s no tomorrow.
Tourism by Canadians into America is down across the board. That said there are surely instances of exceptions in the current trend.
Saw this and made me think of my dad.
My dad always said some of the most talented kids set in the stands. Cause of the youth level it was more about winning over losing, not teaching and developing, who their parents were and too much pressure. And I have always lived by that philosophy.

Gotta say, your the only guy I’ve ever heard of who visited my hometown for SPRING BREAK! But…it can be a FUN town once the weather becomes summer like…in July 😉 A perfect S-SW wind ☀️ day in July-August at the beach on Park Point…is not that much different than being at a beach in San Diego. I’ve never understood hoodies and shorts… lol!!!
Wayyyyy back in the day, when I was doing a lot of cycling (those MS150 rides and such) my legs had a bunch of weight, but my upper body did not. The hoodie/shorts combo happened quite a bit: legs were warm, torso was chilly.

I’m sweating and I’m wearing a t-shirts and light pants.
I have done it, but usually a quarter zip and shorts. Flying somewhere warm in the winter, if pants aren't needed where I am going, why waste the luggage space. I can deal with cold legs much better than I can a cold torso. Shorts and a warmer top it is.
Similarly, if I am traveling and a suit is needed, I am wearing it, NOT packing it. Also, if someone else is paying for my flight; IE business, I am dressing nicer, at least dress pants and a button down.
If I felt like I needed a hooded sweatshirt, I'd probably wear it/carry it on the plane as it would take up a LOT of luggage space. It isn't a common wardrobe item for me, but I can see the rationale.
I sweat like a pig. So even in winter I very seldom wear heavy winter clothing. So when I see people (especially my wife and son) dressed like it’s winter and it blazing hot… I don’t get it… lol!!!
