I have not watched the NHL network to much I see Jamie Hersch is no longer part of the network and she and her family have moved to Las Vegas, what happened?

She works for the Golden Knights broadcast team. I believe doing pregame and postgame studio and in arena.

The Big Ten is a nation wide conference why can’t they add more tv channels instead of the BTNplus the Big Ten conference is billion dollar conference and they need to make changes so viewers can see what they want without having to pay more to view games

They ONLY use extra channels for Football... Not even BBall. Do you think they give a rats ass about hockey and most of the other sports? You realize that there are TONS of games going on at a time right? You would need 10-15 channels to cover all the sports. This is the new reality. Especially with a much bigger conference with 4 new schools.

My tv has 3 BIG channels and they always have the same program on all 3, even during football season. I don't see the point of having 3.

my question is regarding needing to get BigTen plus to see Gopher hockey games not shown on regular tv stations, I had to pay around 65.00 to get BigTen plus for this season

It's a good thing you are not a fan of an NCHC school. They pay almost double. Same with CCHA schools.

It was when KQRS bought KRXX/93x and flipped them from hard rock to "The Edge" February 1994

Yep...I remember it well. The Edge sucked.
The Edge was ok, but I think fans of alt-rock were spoiled by REV105 when that was around.
When you tell somebody somethin', it depends on what part of the United States you're standin' in... as to just how dumb you are.
REV105 was toast the second ABC bought it. They mainly used the frequencies to dig into any of KQ’s competitors. Eventually Drive 105 came around (which I worked for for a bit) and it was similar, but it was also doomed. At that point KQ was fine, the issue this time was not being able to play songs with too much guitar distortion because they felt it would compete with 93x too much. The Current coming on to the scene was the final nail in the coffin.
I love the Current just for the variety (which is why I loved REV).

I was a perfect angel, of course.
No he is out of the business...and is now a full on nutbar who wouldn't talk to us even if we wanted too. Sad really, he was a good dude. He used to do overnights and would tape during the evening so he could hang with us at our buddy's place in Uptown and then go back at about 5am to switch over to the public service announcement. He would dedicate songs to us and we would drink with him while listening to him.
I spent a lot of time in that ABC radio building...smoking in the garage with the KQ overnight guy (might have been Dead Erik at that time) or handing with Nick talking Gopher Hockey. When the Morning Show got my buddy wasted on air for his birthday (which was when they scheduled the "St. Paddy's Cop Giving a Breathalyzer" bit) and the President of ABC radio was laughing at him...that was a good day 
I used to also enjoy the Booze Cruise which I got on for free.
