It’s a bunch of things, but we don’t have the margin for error to shoot 28% from 3 on mostly open 3s. It is what okc gives you and they bet you can’t do it 4x in 7 games to beat them. Wolves shoot their season average from 3 and it’s a 3 pt game. They were also much much less physical on defense tonight. Some of that is the fouls from game 1 and some was seemingly effort (Randle was abysmal on both ends tonight). At some point I’d love to someone on any team actually foul a guard and take the flagrant. Them commenting sga “puts his body on the line” is ridiculous. The highest danger he has is rolling and ankle or jamming a finger while he pins someone’s arm into him or flails to the floor. This isn’t like the days of old where someone was going tk meet you at the rim and if they didn’t get the ball, they were getting the man and making you earn the 2

Holmgren is beyond very good for his size and structure. He plays well inside for giving up so much size and muscle. It helps having some of the teammates he does have. Though you are very correct, he is a very unique player. And it goes back to high school.
To my untrained eye they look out of sorts on offense (Ant in particular can't decide if he should shoot or pass in critical moments) and OKC is killing them on both open looks and with 2nd chance shots.
We will find out Saturday if Wolves led by ANT are risers or posers? I doubt they make finals, but would luv them to be resilient & push it to 6-7 games.

OkC will be more prepared for the early intensity game 4. Seen this movie before, do this again in the early stages next game and I’ll start letting my guard down. We’re still gonna have to do this in Oklahoma but for now tonight was a blast and shit just enjoy it!🍻
